A LB or CB or Safety is gonna have to fill that side with him coming off that fast and up field. If it’s a run to that side then there is no one there.

Fresh legs. Being Healthy. And playing against his old team who gave him up for a bag of peanuts.... let's see how the season progresses.... How many sacks did he have last year?

Quinn is so much faster than I thought, but he takes a long path to QB and (just like everyone) will struggle to get home on quick passes, but if I'm an opposing offense I doubt I'd call many 7 step drops without giving the LT a lot of extra help. I would worry a little about teams running at him if we didn't have LVE and Smith. Also in today's NFL forcing a team to call a running play instead of a pass is almost a win in and of itself.

Let me tell you guys something...i just watched the first 3 or 4 drives and this guy was dominant.

I mean, he was around that LT every single time. He came so close to multiple sacks just on these first 4 drives. He was so dominant that they started keeping a back in to help and were chipping him. On the flea flicker, he was around that LT so fast he almost intercepted the pitch back!

Wow...this guy is going to help our defense so much and will make DLAW even better. Very surprised he is this good so fast after a broken hand and 2 game suspension!
I love PEDS! Jk

I only noticed him, or should I say looked for him in the second half. Honestly forgot he was back.

But from what I saw, I’m all in on this guy!

Ya my impression during the game was he got better in the 2nd half but in actuality, he was a beast from the start!

He is the best RE we have had since Demarcus Ware lined up on a 4 man rush...

He is EXACTLY what we have need for a long time!

Not to be a party pooper, but what's it gonna take for our DL to not be terrible if Quinn and Lawrence aren't enough?

I read that Quinn was credited with 6 QB pressures, whereby he came close enough to cause at least some degree of disruption in Rosen's delivery of the football. If he was able to fare so well right after returning from suspension, he might be able to perform even better vs. New Orleans Sunday night.

My guess is that it should do nothing but improve with Quinn on one side and D-Law on the other. We'll just have to wait and see to know for certain. Hopefully, the pressure coming from the middle should improve, given more time, also. Christian Covington and Armstrong could possibly lend a hand in that effort, too.

For a guy that's been out over a month and missed a lot of time, he certainly stood out. Props to him. If he and Dlaw can get to full form, it might make the LB's look like they have a "clue" because so far they haven't which has been a real disappointment to me so far this season. I really thought the LB's were the strength. Far from it unfortunately!

This, being a heels fan I knew what we were getting. His last year there would have been special if not for the crap that happened.
I'm a huge Heels fan as well and wanted him in that draft. Some don't know his story of the brain tumor and what not. Kind of wish he had 94 instead of 58 though but as long as he is on the team I'm happy

I saw that too many times. Yet they called them only on Dallas.
I think we just notice more with Dallas because that’s who we care about and pay attention to. No doubt fans of other teams see things the Cowboys get away with.

Maybe Lawrence and Quinn should bring back the case of beer bet on sacks made famous by Martin and Jones!

Sadly...Quinn was the reason D-Law got his first sack. He flushed the QB back inside....SMH....Love his energy. Happy Hunting.
