Yes I'm a UNC fan, born and raised in NC
Quinn was definitely one bright spot on the defense Sunday. He gives me some hope moving forward. But man do we need some playmakers on this defense. Just look how many defensive plays the Bears defense made to change the game against Washington.

Was told our D was better, so I will see for myself Sunday night.

Quinn is a stud and has been his entire career. I was stoked beyond belief when we got him. I was completely shocked when everyone wasn't.

Hey, guys, where do you rank him on our D now?

I'm excited for Quinn, too, though we have to remember the Dolphins' left tackle is a fill-in for the traded Laremy Tunsil.

Still, I agree Quinn is the ideal bookend for D-Law. In fact he may end up leading the Cowboys in sacks this year.

Aka a professional football player

I am super happy about Quinn. Didn't doubt the guy, still don't. He was wasted in Miami.

According to what I observed preseason, the majority of this board has no clue who he is.

Yeah, I was a bit surprised by the lackluster response. The guy was a 10+ sack guy high pressure player with the Rams. He faded in Miami, which is a black hole.

I really felt the issue was as much Miami as anything else. I mean, really, they had some supposed talent the last few years and they still managed to lawn dart into failure.

Seriously, people want out of that franchise. I really think Quinn might be closer to the guy he was in the Rams than the guy he was in Miami.

oh, after he got here. Gotcha. Good stuff

Just as many people were familiar with his career though, and I recall a lot of excitement.

Not on this board. On the thread about rating the D players, most people on this site were putting him as our 8th or so best player on D. There were only a couple of people who knew, and were excited.

He's not old, only 29. He had 6.5 sacks last year, and finished strong. MIA had terrible DT's and Cameron Methuselah Wake on the opposite side. There were people stating that Hyde, Crawford, or Armstrong would be the starting DE opposite DLaw. It was crazy stuff.

No, it was almost everyone in the threads concerning the Dline. I guess if most people didn't contribute in those threads that it's possible I missed the optimism, but where were they discussing him then?

sorry. Do you think you have some insight no one else does? We knew who he was with Miami.
Yes I have insight that some don't have. Many said Quinn wasn't that good and complained about getting him the same with Cooper and Cobb. If you don't fit in that group then move along

It was almost a majority who didn't understand who we picked up in Quinn.
