Robert Quinn?

lol, sure, he ran a 4.38. He can shoot laser beams out his eyes and lightning bolts from his *** too, I bet. The legend of Quinn grows. Getting suspended was the best thing he ever did for his draft stock.

Robert Quinn: The Monster off The Edge
By Travis Cooke (Correspondent) on July 26, 2010

<snip>

I won’t let him be so humble, however. In April, 2010, Quinn broke UNC’s lineman record in the 40-yard dash, clocking in at a blazing 4.38 seconds, .15 seconds faster than the previous holder, Julius Peppers. Additionally, he holds the lineman record for the power clean lift at 374 pounds. He recently tipped the scales at 266 pounds. While Quinn may squirm when reading those last sentences, you can rest assured quarterbacks throughout the ACC are even less comfortable.

I know this is just one game, but I'm hearing he ran a 4.38 40 at 6'5" and 267 lbs. Imagine him on the other side of DM.
Quinn could be amazing, but no, he did not run a 4.38. Those campus timings are always advantageous to the players.

It's better to not even use them.

We'll see at the combine.

But hey, even if he runs a 4.55, that would be beastly for his size.

For some reason when I see Quinn run/rush the passer, he reminds me a lot of Ware. Not sure if its his running style, his build, or that fact that he always seems to be able to beat the opposing OT's around the edge, but his game, to my very untrained eye, seems to really resemble Ware's (his pass rush, that is... he probably isn't even close to as good as Ware is in coverage).

Not quite as impressive as his 73-inch vertical.

6 foot 3", 245 pounds and ran a 4.5

And this guy is bigger and faster!!!! Must be the water in NC.

If Quinn is there at 9 you have to take him.then go Oline 2nd round . start of round 2 is where the real value for Oline men are in this draft.

I think Quinn is gone by 9

You know what else I like about Quinn. He wont even be 21 years old till May 21st

He's a darkhorse; that time is bogus, but he's a player.

I have a feeling he's going to be long gone by the time we pick at 9.

I think it's impossible to be "long gone" by the 9th pick in a draft, but yes, there is certainly a chance he's taken earlier than our pick. :D

Wasn't he ineligible in 2010? Would you want a guy with baggage? From what I have read, he is not a hard worker.

Maybe I am looking at another Robert Quinn.

Hadn't even considered the possibility since he'd set weight room marks. First I'm hearing it but you might be right.
