Rod Marri -overrated needs to go

This guy is the most over rated defensive coordinator in the history of the Dallas Cowboys. Defense can't get any turn overs. Can't get off the field when needed. Can't get 3 and outs. Jerry Jones is another at fault. We need a true DT. Screw what Rod likes. We also need a great safety. Been needing these two things for years. Finally we need a leader out there. I for one don't see one. Defense hasn't played a great game all season. Not even the New Orleans game because they held down the score but let the Saints control the clock. Can't stop the run either. Rod M is another one I won't miss when the crap finally hits the wall.

Please help me Ohio State and the Lakers...please.....

Lmao. Richard is a nobody. He calls the plays and plays with the players Marinelli wants and adheres to the scheme Marinelli installed. Are you this naive? Marinelli is the one who does not value DT or Safety. Marinelli picked Taco over TJ. Ignored quality safeties in the draft for more junk DL. This is all him. Another Marinelli defense who gets gutted by GB. Puke.

I don't think he is overrated. I mean does anyone really think he is good. He is an old man coaching in a league that is vastly different than his heyday. We need to get rid of the dinosaurs and bring in coaches that understand todays game. JG isn't old, but his coaching is out dated and doesn't work in todays NFL.

Giving Marinelli all the blame is getting old. This system is very similar to the one that Richard would run.

People need to stop only putting blame on Marinelli. Richard and Marinelli are both responsible for this terrible D. What happened to Richard being a defensive back guru? This defense sucks.

At what point of getting gashed do you start to take some chances by bringing one of the safeties up for run support?

That last Packers drive they have both safeties back 20 yards off the LOS and they get gashed for a couple of big clock chewing first downs. I am sick of this entire bend don't break philosophy. Their unwillingness to attack offenses is beyond frustrating. It is also the main reason why they are so few turnovers generated by this defense.

Richard runs this defense, Marinelli is a glorified assistant coach. You guys asked for this a year or two ago - it happened and now our defense is worse. We played a lot better when Marinelli was really running the D show - so get your facts straight.

As much as offense can take blame, the defense was horrid in every aspect. I can't even count how many times we didn't even charge the ball carrier and allowed for extended yards and for ball carriers to go to the outside. We played scared on defense. It's like we were afraid of contact. GB didn't have Adams. Mitigating Jones would've put more pressure on everyone else. Instead we get killed in the trenches and made no adjustments. LVE took every wrong angle that existed. Brown also had another bad game. The list goes on and on .
