The suspension and issues are certainly disappointing. I have and continue to hope that the light comes on and he fully buys into the program that these Cowboys are establishing. If he does, he's a great player and a real asset to the team. If not, he has no one to blame but himself. The opportunity and blueprint are right there in front of him.

For the short term, I hope he's able to get back on the field and start getting into the swing of things.

This is why the NFL has the rookie symposium and bring in guys like Chris Carter and others who have made mistakes and try to tell these guys of the pitfall. They are young guys none perfect but with fame and money comes a lot of responsibility and there is no choice but to grow up faster. Use common sense, like there is nothing good on the streets at 2 am or hanging out with thugs or breaking rules that are clear cut.
