Just wanted to post so I can gloat and say how right I was about Rolando. I argued with several guys on here about Rolando being a tremendous player and talent that was a ferocious leader. But I was told I was wrong.

Bottom line - Rolando is a badass and should get a lot of the credit for the defense having that attitude (swag)

How long is he under contract for us? I can see a big payday for him soon.

Ro McClain sets the tone for this defense it seems. He's sorta like Lee who brings a bigger hammer. I'm really hoping that next year we could see McClain/Lee next to each other. That could be some really good LBing.

Only this year. I think he'd be a UFA after the season, though I could easily be wrong on that one.

I think Jimmy Johnson helped us pick him up.

I really hope we get the chance to see what these LBs can do next year with McClain at the MIKE and Lee at the WILL. That would be some fun watching those guys fly all over the field.

Big time, pick up. Loved seeing him stone Lynch in the hole for one yard. lol

Jerry can lock him up, this guy has his head on straight now and is a playmaker, makes players around him better!

During training camp I posted a detailed review of RoMc's last season in Oakland. I reviewed 8 complete games of him playing in Oakland.

I said that he was terrific and definitely didn't get cut due to a lack of performance or ability.

In regards to being reliable, I also posted that he and Sean Lee were drafted the same year and that McClain had more starts in the time period than Lee.

What was it that you did again?

These guys look like they turn on the afterburners when McClain is out there. Dude is playing fantastic ball and is a big part of the defensive turnaround in addition to Marinelli getting another year to get everyone settled in. What I like about this defense now is how physical they are. Wilcox and Church will deliver a pop and McClain will just stop guys in their tracks. Even our corners are physical. This is the type of team you have to raise in order to get respect in the league. It's a lot of fun watching the defense actually rush to the ball carrier and hit hard instead of arm tackling.
