Just wanted to post so I can gloat and say how right I was about Rolando. I argued with several guys on here about Rolando being a tremendous player and talent that was a ferocious leader. But I was told I was wrong.

Bottom line - Rolando is a badass and should get a lot of the credit for the defense having that attitude (swag)

Calling Dr. Mlardy.......

Here's what I said back when he was signed or acquired in the trade:

"Rolando was never suspended at alabama. The only trouble he got in while at alabama was he beat up a frat kid that called him the N word. And he didn't even get in much trouble then. But yes his problem is Decatur alabama. If he stays away from there he can be great. And I mean an all time great. Not many guys have started as true freshmen at linebacker at alabama. He has outstanding instincts. He's tough. Played the independence bowl with a broke hand. He's fast. Was a huge part of shutting down the spread at Florida with Tebow in the SECCG in 09. And he's a tackling machine. Talent is not and never was Ro's problem."

The rest of the thread was me disputing that Rolando was suspended at Alabama with other posters

Anyway, he's playing great and Go Cowboys!

Ro looks great. He is the Dallas MVP. Anyone playing better at his position? Asking not saying.

I wonder who is mike when Lee gets back next year?

I don't know. First of the year I put Ro at the Sam where his run D would work best. Now I'd say that will work him at the Mike and Sam and Lee at the Mike and Will. That gives them some position flex. I think Carter will be in the mix which is why Ro at Mike and Lee at Will with Carter at Sam is more likely. This is all in pencil mind you.

I d

I did actually. I know Rolando personally so I've always kept up with him. He had a lot of problems off the field that hindered his play in Oakland

We already read about his problems ... they weren't all that. He's handled it and he's a Cowboys now. He can have whatever he needs. Next.

Lock him up long-term immediately.

I was on board with you mate, I was arguing with all the clowns who thought swapping 7th rounders was the end of the world.

OScan is so happy with RoMc. They played a clip from the locker room of OScan talking about how he went up to RoMc the first day he got here. How he watched him in college. OScan said he's my "little big brother .... he can play".

When was that? After today's game or earlier?

After today's game. You could hear McClain in the background saying "I'm younger, so I'm the little brother". I think about reading about his early life. I think he just want to belong somewhere.

RoMc was not on the field for the entire game. Wilber and Hitchens both played. I think Durant was the only one that played all of the snaps.

Could be wrong but did not see Ro on the field when Lynch broke that 30 yard run.
