Rolando McClain is a Leader Already

When Scandrick was over there jawing with the Seahawks bench, Brandon Carr goes up to Orlando and then McClain comes up, grabs Scandrick's jersey in one big mitt and shoves him towards the Cowboys bench. Smart move from a guy that is already one of the leaders on defense... if not THE leader on defense.

McClain was some kind of steal, let me tell you.

Saw that as well. Another 3 seconds and Oscan gets a taunting penalty. Absolute steal by the front office. Not going to lie, the thought of McClain and Lee together makes me very happy

I don't like it either but that is in the heat of the moment and the adrenaline and excitement can get to you at times. He was really pumped.

I cannot be too hard on OS showing fire he just needs to know when to keep it in check.

Scandrick was amped and deservedly so. He had just been in on a huge 3rd down killing pass breakup play late in the game. While I said "please God no personal foul penalty here when we made them punt", I absolutely LOVE my boy OScan's fire.

I do. if you're whipping up on the seahawks...you best let them verbally know it. Id pull a richard sherman and go find him after the game and get all in his face lol

Didn't mean to turn this into a Scandrick thread. Kudos to McClain. Like I said in another thread, when he got that pick I was surprised my neighbors didn't call the police because I was screaming so loud. RoMc is heaven sent. He's a Charles Haley type acquisition. He makes that much difference.

I was really excited when we traded for him. I watch quite a few Raiders games and I would always come away thinking that the Raiders made a tremendous draft pick with McClain. I remember thinking that he could become their Ray Lewis. I knew better than to get my expectations up because of what had happened after the Raiders released him but the talent has always been there. If he can stay healthy and hungry we may now have our Ray Lewis. He just gives this defense an attitude that we haven't seen since Ken Norton Jr. was in his prime.

I think a couple years ago McClain would be joining OS in the jawing.

People thought when the Cowboys got him that he was some crazy reckless player, but I never saw that in reviewing his games in Oakland. All of his issues were off-field.
