for years I have been clamoring that Dallas needs a LB who has few screws loose who just hits everything that moves. McClain is reminding me of what Bryan Cox did with Jets defense years ago. Once he start hitting people the rest of defense starting taking on his mentality regardless of their past history. Mincey said it today on radio that McClain fit in immediately. I still want to see where his head is toward end of season but he should be high on Dallas list of players to resign.

Who in the heck is Bryan Cox? Boy if McClain is anything like a NFL player no one has ever heard of, were in trouble.

Eugene "The Hitting Machine" Lockhart

No way. Lockhart was so overrated. He is not even close to the talent that McClain is. The Hitting Machine could flat out hit but McClain can play sideline to sideline, cover and pass rush in addition.Jimmy would have kept Ro, for one, while Lockhart was one of his first trades.

Hate to be so cold, but it's colder in New England.

Obviously you're young if you don't know who Bryan Cox is. I'm surprised you haven't heard of a website called google. Let me help you out:

http://lmgtfy.com/?q=bryan cox

I was on a Laker website, referring to a players hairstyle as like Aunt Bee's. And a member's response was, who is she? Never heard of her or The Andy Griffith show. I said, don't you ever watch tv reruns? Answer, "No". Prob doesn't even know what a rerun is.

Cultural divides there, based on different experiences from different eras. McClain seems like less of an ****** than Cox though, while still having the tough player demeanor.

Why do people keep wanting McClain to keep proving himself? His head and his heart is with this team. He has a groin injury. Yet was out there playing against Seattle because he "didn't want to disappoint his boys and he want to be there for them." Sounds like someone that is team oriented and wants to play football despite knowing he can sit out because of his injury.

Your youth is showing if you don't know who Brian Cox is. Everybody who was watching football more than 10 years ago would be familiar with him. Or anybody who watched Hard Knocks with the Falcons.

Ro-Mac and Durant have been the saviors of our LB corps this year. Without them, this season wouldn't be nearly as successful as it is right now. I'd like to see both of them resigned next year. I'm sure the FO is intent upon signing them to multi-year contracts in 2015. Here's hoping we're able to satisfy their contract wishes.

Next year with Ro, Lee and Carter our lb core will be outstanding. Couple more stud DL and we could be killer.
