He is such a physical player. It is infectious and the rest of the team feeds off of it.
He is an "alpha dog." The other players recognize it. They follow him and respect him. He sets the tone and they follow it. It's a very physical tone.
He is very communicative before the snap. The defense is always giving hand signals and verbal comments to each other before the snap. Ro is directing where things should line up. With authority.
He plays each play like it's his last. He gives up his body like it is just a video game.
He plays the right way. He remains composed when others are not and gets them in line before penalties are committed.
He plays with a drive that looks inspired by God and a love of the game that cannot be taught or learned later in life.
He is the reason we are 5-1, above any other.
I like ur alpa dog reference. Mincey said he is like a de at lb.
The first time I saw him stop a rb in his tracks and then slam him to the ground I thought it was going to be a penalty because it looked so violent and forceful.
But after reading minced comment I realized that d lineman tend to tackle like that.
It just looks odd to see a lb meet the rb in the hole but tackle that way.
I wonder if he was a d lineman at some point.
Seeing him make that int last week really surprised me. It was perfect coverage and he made a leap and grab at the ball that looked natural and effortless.
Have to say right now he may be the best all around player on this defense.
