Injured guys will be given a pass. Hurt players will play..
Which is what I've been saying.

I agree... once Murray gets his record... and halftime comes, I am hoping starters will be sat. No need in getting anyone hurt right before playoffs

Romo is hurt not injured.
This season's flu vaccine has been found to cover a smaller percentage of strains than usual. If he's not making the trip it stands to reason that they're trying to isolate him as much as possible. Hopefully it won't hit the team with the WC game approaching.
There is a nasty virus going around right now that isn't the flu although it is flu season.
The difference is, he's our most important player. Commanders like to blitz. Why expsose him to that? He needs to be as healthy as possible going into the playoffs. He should play a quarter at most. Once Murray gets his record, I expect both of them to be on the bench for the rest of the game. He needs the rest as much as anyone.
But Jobber, can't they just give him antibiotics?
Because the R*dskins aren't the only team that will blitz us. If he can't handle it against the Washington...we should just pack it up now.

This looks like resting the guy with the soft tissue injury to me.
This. Unless we play the NFC South, it certainly isn't going to get easier. If we can't get past the sucky Commanders we might as well skip the playoffs.
Players play.
Except if that was the case...why did they have him practicing this week?
Looks like a guy who is sick and being isolated from the team to me.
The 1995 Cowboys were 12-4 and won the Super Bowl. Two of their losses were to a sucky Commanders team that I believe finished 4-12. Did that matter?
Tomorrow's game is meaningless. All this talk about "maintaining momentum" is bull. Reminds me of all the crying four months ago when Dallas went 0-4 in the preseason. The Cowboys are going to be spending tomorrow wondering who their wild card playoff opponent is going to be. I'll be spending three hours waiting for the fourth quarter clock to read zero with zero injuries.
Hard to say how much he's doing. But Murray was out sick for a single day and then returned to play with the team. The couldn't have been too concerned with quarantining him. And now Rolando's not even making the flight 24 hours before the game....and just happens to be one of the few guys who's been nursing a groin (though I've heard, too, that the problem is actually RMs knee....). Maybe it is what it is, but it sounds fishy to me.
A) Being sick and being contagious are different things. We really don't know what either had.
B) Rumors are that Murray wasn't even sick...but was handling gf drama.
C) If the plan was really to rest Ro due to his knee they wouldn't have practiced him needlessly. They'd have had him doing rehab work.
We don't know what either had, so that works both ways. If your'e going to posit that Murray wasn't ever sick, it's not much of a stretch to posit the same for McClain. And we don't really know how much rehab work he's been doing this week. It's entirely possible he *was* on a lighter workload.
Maybe he is out with a high fever or something bad enough that they know a day in advance they can't just give him an IV and put him out there and it's just a coincidence that he's also been nursing playable injuries the last several weeks.
Tony and Williams and Murray both have been playing with bone problems. Free's got a soft tissue ankle, and he's out. Do we have anybody else that's nursing a soft tissue injury? Anybody we know is playing with it?
