I think Maroney split time with Gary Russell that season.

He had 281 carries his last season with the Gophers. He played in 11 games and missed one due to injury. I consider anyone who averages over 25 carries per game the #1 guy. Russell did get a lot of carries himself with 186, but Maroney was the guy once Barber graduated. That is why Maroney had two games where he toted the rock 40+ times.

I'd seriously look at taking him w/ our 4th rounder. He'd be everything that we hoped Skyler Green would be: PR, KR, RB, WR......
He's worth a shot w/ our 4th.....

To even think about using a 4th Dallas would need to make sure his drug days are done. Dallas does not need to go back in time where we constantly dealt with players being suspended. Leave that to Cinn
