Romo says: McNabb stop throwing up on the field...:D

I'm sorry, but if he pulls that c*** anywhere near the STAR in Dallas this year, Roy needs to pull a Teague and defend it.

Come to think of it that's pretty dam funny. Can you guys picture this? McNabb bent over throwing up(no stretch) on the Star. Roy comes running over and knocks his *** off the Star. I think I'd die laughing.:laugh1:

It is interesting to analyze the stats on this page. Romo is 2nd overall, 1st in Yards per Attempt (as said earlier), 1st in TD%, but 18th in INT%. That is the one area that BP is worried about and seems to be the only real flaw.

Of course that being said, Drew was 33rd in INT% one position less than Roethlisberger:eek:

In 9 games Peyton has 18 TD's.
In 3 1/2 game Romo has 8 TD's.:D :D :D

Romo leads the league in both YPA and touchdown percentage. Those are two big stats. He's tied with Manning for 3rd in completion percentage. However, he's also played against two soft defenses and one prevent defense.

On the other hand, Romo has played in 15 quarters of football this season. All his interceptions came in the first 4 of those quarters. He's now gone 11 quarters without an INT.

True and if he keeps that clean streak going, he will bring this number down quickly. That is the great part of having played 3 games. I love the guy and i can't wait to see if he can maintain these high numbers moving forward. I know I feel we can do anything when he is in the game and that is a great new feeling :D

After the first 3 or 4 games didn't David Carr have the best QB rating in the league?

Don't buy into that stat after just a couple of games.

Carr also built up a good portion of those numbers in blowouts where he was passing against prevent-esque defenses.

While Romo's numbers for three games don't reflect an entire season, I don't think they're as meaningless as Carr's.

Love what Romo is doing but QB Rating is the most worthless stat in sports.

I couldnt disagree more with you, you can make a case for any stat to be useless at least QB rating is a combination of factors. I am a big proponent of qb rating and would say it is one of the most useFUL stats in sports. If you had to use a stat what else would you use? yards? td? completion %? They all have caveats, at least qb rating combines those and more AND rates each on a scale.

No one -- from fans, to coaches to media -- is dumbing down their expectations.

that's been evident since the 1st quarter of the Carolina game, where ROmo attempted something like 14 passes

he has as many TD passes as Delhomme and :lmao: Brunell, and more than golden boys JP Losman and Byron Leftwich, amazing

Except when it's pointing downward.. Then it's pretty telling. I'll take a QB with our QB's rating, anyday. You can pick through the unfortunate 8 before him for whatever it is you want. Romo is a "Gift Horse", pure 'n simple. Most of us figured that out in the Giant's game.
