I wonder if Romo played for Green Bay or Denver or some other team if the fans would turn on him the way Dallas fans have turned on Romo.

Did the Colts fans turn on Peyton when he was losing in the 1st rounds of playoff games?

I remember reading where some were suggesting Tony faked his rib injury so we all would go easy on him.

I agree. Swinging a golf club and tennis racket just days after a rib injury?!?

well, you cant blame some. apparently it was serious and painful enough that he collapsed in the shower. so one would normally think it's pretty bad and would require close medical attention, medicines and rest. or if it's a much worse case, require surgery.

so seeing him play golf and tennis only after a few weeks after collapsing from severe pain, you cant help but ask if the injury was really serious as he put on or not. i mean, it's not like golf and tennis are just like chess. those sports, while not as deadly as football, still require enough physical movement and exertion. especially around the area he was supposedly badly injured.

Actually, it's going on two weeks.

That said, what is Romo supposed to do? It IS the offseason for him. The team isn't playing anymore games. Nothing to prepare for on Sunday. Not sure what the beef is. The initial injury probably was painful enough for him to pass out. Rest makes a ton of difference in the body's healing process. Golf isn't exactly strenous to the body.

Shoot, T.O. was in Vegas this past weekend at some casino pajama party. These guys have moved on.

Tony Romo.... " If the worst thing that happens in my sports life is that I play tennis and golf with bruised ribs, but get to hang around celebrities, then I've had it pretty good" :ralph:
