where'd you find that quote? I bet you just made it up...

I thought about what he would say if a reporter asked him why he lost his tennis match....

Its sad that instead of reading Oh Im so glad Romos ribs are better, people would rather hed be injured enough to keep him from playing these other sports.

word! 'cause you have no life outside of work, right? or maybe you just stay at work 24/7 and never sleep...

I meant he looks like he wants to enjoy his time and not even think about football

Actually, it's going on two weeks.

That said, what is Romo supposed to do? It IS the offseason for him. The team isn't playing anymore games. Nothing to prepare for on Sunday. Not sure what the beef is. The initial injury probably was painful enough for him to pass out. Rest makes a ton of difference in the body's healing process. Golf isn't exactly strenous to the body.

Shoot, T.O. was in Vegas this past weekend at some casino pajama party. These guys have moved on.

Less than two weeks after the so-called rib injury he had and then swinging a golf club! I don't know if you've ever played golf before but those swings are using your upper body big time. I just can't see someone doing that, so yes, I think he made the injury seem worse than it is...but it's probably not the first time he's done that.

well, while some are cowboys fans, not all are romo homers. so these people also have the right to be suspicious just as you have the right to be happy with whatever he does.

imo, its a valid, legit question/concern. everyone was worried/surprised that he collapsed after the last game, and for someone to collapse like that, playing a tough sport every week, its obiovus the pain is very severe. im not a doctor, so maybe in medical terms, all that needed was just rest. but not everyone is a doctor, and of course theyd think that that's something really bad, if not scary. so for him to swing that upper body, where the ribs are located, both in golf and tennis, means it wasnt probably as bad as he let on the first time. youd think if there really was something in that ribs, he'd wince every now and then with a golf or tennis swing.

or maybe its the offseason - you just magically feel better all over. :p:

Romo played football with an injured pinky...

Witten played football with injured ribs...

its different playing with/through injury when youre at work. its diff when its leisure time. sometimes you still go to the office even though you have some colds or flu or a slight fever. but i highly doubt youd go partying or clubbing in the same condition. same with any other sports player. kobe played bball while injured, tiger played golf while injured, because its work, there's something huge at stake. but i highly doubt youll see kobe play just fun street bball when he's got a busted ankle.

It's well documented that he had a rib injury. I'm not sure why there's even a question about it. The only significance of it is that right after the initial injury, he passed out.

Just because he's playing golf, of sorts, doesn't lessen the fact that he had an injury. And as someone mentioned, Witten played the very next week. If Witten can do play football and take hits, why can't Romo play golf?

after that collapse, Romo himself refused a stretcher when they offered him n he insisted on walking...i don't see how he made the injury seem worse than it is..??

I guess you've never taken a vacation or thought about anything other than work, right?

The faking his injury is just another way for people who can't play QB, and never could, to try and pretend they actually know what they're talking about while hating on him.

i'd much rather see him getting involved in all these SPORTS than gambling away in a casino during the offseason....If he is at home, he probably watches some game films, think about football, reflects back his boneheaded throws, etc (of course in between some DVDs & video games & boinking...:D )

To say that he never cares about football again is ridiculous...

This is the dumbest paparazzi thread of all time. He played football with a rib injury but can't play tennis or golf?

It shouldn't amaze me, but it does.
