Romo and DMac prove there is no such thing as team chemistry

The team isn't as explosive with McFadden as it is with Zeke. The same can be said about Dunbar and Morris. We are a different team with Zeke and Dak. Romo looked good no doubt in the one drive but who thinks he plays like that the entire game? I don't. Sure Romo and McFadden came in and we scored but we are much better with Dak and Zeke
No he would nor! He would do better and the Cowboys would have won by three touch downs!!

I think Dallas should have kept Jackson and let him play today like Sanchez to see what he has. Mcfadden, Dunbar and Morris can all leave next year and bring in young guns to back up Zeke. Look at Atlanta with their backs......im not saying draft another back with a high pick by the way
Agree, esp after spending the 4th overall on Zeke, it makes great sense to not resign this group and let Morris walk if looks sluggish in camp. Let some young backs get in here to relieve him next year and use that cap room elsewhere. There are always vet backs available if the UDFAs or late picks fall through; signed week 2, etc.

what about 2015 with a running game? When you hit your mid thirties, things start to go bad. Tony will not have another 2014

2014 with a running game he had 34 TD and 9 Ints not too shabby. He has toned it down as he matured.
I'm a Romo homer and have wanted him to play all season but Dak and with a running game has 23 TDs and only 4 interceptions. That stat of only 4 interceptions of basically 15 games is pretty stinking amazing for any QB but especially a rookie.

Because sooner or later, he'll screw up the playoffs, it's always happened through out his career. You know, when teams game-plan you. But, he looked good enough to get us a #1 draft pick.
Except he has never "screwed up" in the playoffs. The team got beat by superior teams, even in 2007 by the red hot Giants who went on to beat the only 18-0 team in history. And teams game plan a QB every regular season game.

Oh I'm sorry, he won us a Super Bowl, I forgot.

We were told, even here on this forum, going back to Tony would destroy team chemistry.

The point of the thread is that, as I said from the beginning, that's not the case.

If you have ability and execute the playbook, the team will win no matter which able-player is playing.

Sanchez isn't able. Morris isn't able.

Dmac, Tony, dak and Zeke are.
I said team chemistry will be destroyed. Not necessarily by Romo but by the way the coaches make the change. Like it was said on this thread, there's more to team chemistry than on the field. Romo played like we expected him to, which was very well. I wasn't surprised at what Romo did, at all. I've always said Romo was the better passer. Dak is a rookie. Romo has more experience. But, you can't judge how Romo would be from one series. The Eagles didn't game plan against him. Chemistry starts in the lockerroom and transfers on the field. And unless you've played sports and experienced it, you won't understand it. It's the way it's done by the COACHES.

Romo with Zeke would have been a more productive offense than Dak. I'm very happy to have Dak and thrilled with the season but for any one
to say a rookie QB with Zeke running the ball is better than Romo with the same offensive players Dak had all season is nuts.

Besides Zeke what weapons? Dez has averaged like 4 catches a game this season and we went 4-0 without him. Cole Beasley was the #1 receiver, Cole Beasley. Not exactly Jerry Rice.

I do hope Dallas wins the Super Bowl this year, because this next off-season will be a blood bath around here no matter who loses the last game for this team.

Only playbook chemistry.

Do your job and you'll thrive!

I'm not trying to compare Romo to any ordinary backup, but it's not uncommon for a backup to have success when he comes into a game.
Besides, chemistry isn't just established for one game. Dak didn't have any chemistry either in his first game as starter.

It's just typical Romo love from the OP. Nothing wrong with liking Romo, but when you repeatedly take shots at Dak and act like he's trash you have a senseless agenda that puts the priority of having your favorite QB in over your team winning. It's illogical.

Dak hasn't done jack yet in the playoffs so hold your praise for Dak, if you are gonna bash Romo and his playoff record.

When has Romo ever avoided turnovers? That being said you aren't having 4-5 drives like that every game

Dude please for the love of God - you are supposed to be better than this - you are on this board for a reason, you are aware of more things so please - do your homework.

You must be the last person on this entire board to know but -- education is everything in life so here you go--

Romo's lifetime INT % is BETER than Aikman, Staubach, Marino, Elway and Eli. He turns it over LESS than only the top 20% of QB's in the history of the NFL. You think that 2nd highest QB rating in history is a mistake? Do you think it's made up?

Happy New Year - you just got a lifetime of Cowboys knowledge for free and you can pass it on to others less knowledgeable than you - but stop with the misinformation - it's embarrassing.

Well let's see....

He's thrown 248 touchdowns and 117 interceptions in his career. In 2014 he only threw 9 interceptions.

So he's done well at avoiding turnovers in favor of scoring touchdowns his entire career. But keep those glasses on.
