I'll be excited to see Romo do it.

Unfortunately, if he does, I suspect it would be in a loss.

Interesting conundrum.

It's not that close, I believe it's around 350 and he's averaging 305 a game. It's possible but I bet he doesn't.

i don't think it will be that type of game. I think he finishes with 250-275 yards and come up short to 5000 yds.

Unfortunately, a lot of those yards have come from trying to come from behind. If we win and he gets 5000 yards, that'll be great. If we lose, it won't matter.

With a Dallas win? I'll take that.

Your right. I stand corrected. 315 is great. 400+ means that you are probably playing from behind.

I want Dallas to win. If they win and he comes up short of 5000 to get that W I'll gladly take that and I'm certain he would as well.

I can care less how many yards he throws for.. all I care about is a win over Washington.

That's nice. What does it have to do with the thread? Nobody said it's more important than the win.

5,000 is the new 4,000.

Shame that every time Romo has an outstanding year, some other QB has an even more outstanding year.

Had 4,483 yards in 2009. Schaub has 4,770 and Peyton Manning has 4,500. 3rd in the NFL.

Had 4,211 yards in 2007. Brady has 4,806 and Brees has 4,423. 3rd in the NFL.

I don't care if he passes for 2,500 yards in a year as long as he wins the SB. No QB who led the league in passing yards won the Super Bowl that same year.
