I know nothing special, just a little something though.

Romo said he's a proven winner and Witten said he has done some great things in SD.

For the record they were directly asked what they thought of Phillips. We pretty much could have guessed what their answers would be and that they obviously would be positive.

The first reply of this thread threw me off... I didn't think it was clear enough that Mortenson asked them directly about Phillips.

I not a Phillips fan I thought he had his 2 chances but at least he was above average which is better than Norv has done

Yeah, when I replied he only had that they gave some love to Phillips. After he added the info I commented about offensive players talking about a defensive coach as a funny.

It's just PC answers from Witten and Romo - I wouldn't look too far into their comments.

ESPN is making a living out of confusing the hell out of us. They're doing a really good job.
