To say Romo and Clutch in the same sentence is ridicolous. Let him play
and quit 'overhypying' the QB of America's team.

BUahahahah:lmao2:

In all honesty though, romo is very clutch...I dont know what happened in Seattle...He had a mental slip. I'll give Him a pass, He showed was to much leadership and talent not to.

Romo= Our Guy:star:

Consistency over time is what you hope for. I just dont see how you can be referred to as clutch like a Montana or Elway after a partition of a season.

luckily nobody mentioned elway or montana otherwise this post might have actually made sense

Anybody here remember what became of that guy who came in here and swore up and down that he was never gonna watch the 'Boys again? And that he was finding himself a new team to root for? I seem to recall that he was a Purdue fan.;)

That pass to Witten against the Giants was the most clutch thing we've seen here in a long time.

Indeed, but that pass to Fasano against the Colts was also something to behold.

Romo is as clutch as they come. He has shown that he is money in the bank when the game is on the line. Forget his drop against the Seahawks, what a ridiculous argument, it was Romo's ability that even got us in that position, and no other starting QB in the league holds for FG's.

Clutch needs to be on and off the field........

Could not have Romo, during the Miss Univ. contest, done something to temper the boo bird for Miss USA as he asked her the Question from the Judges last weekend......

seems to me it would've been a prime spot to take on leadership..........he couldnt of been surprized, as it went on all week..........the only one showing the crowd displeasure was Miss Japan......

This from a blog......None of Miss USA's fellow Americans participating in the interview segment — neither Minnillo, nor macho co-host Mario Lopez, nor the dashing judge Tony Romo — came to Smith's defense. Instead, Minnillo pleaded briefly with the unruly mob: "Okay, una momento, por favor ." Lopez stood mute with a dumb grin on his dimpled face

Oh, so now your point is that he needs to be "clutch" over a longer period of time, but not that he wasn't "clutch" in 2006. Gotcha. I'm just wanting to figure this all out before you backpedal yourself back to the 20th century.

argue it all you want but the incapability to put down the snap for the winning kick in the final moments of a playoff game, is the exact opposite of clutch.

He hasn't encountered a burning orphanage yet. Maybe that'll happen next month for ya. Jeez, give us a break. I'm more than sure crowd control wasn't asked of him prior to the acceptance of MU judge. I'm sure the anti-american crowd would've loved to hear an american asking them to "shush up." Yeah, that'd do it.

Literally.................:laugh2:

Romo is fine. I'm not sure any longer whether I want football to arrive because of football, or because we can discuss legitimate, related topics.

Good in clutch situations as a QB: CHECK
Good in clutch situation as a FG Holder: Made 1 costly mistake

Not to throw water on the parade but Jake Plummer was considered clutch early in his career also.

Because in the 4th quarter and on 3rd downs he's clutch.

This is the funniest post ever, cause I really didn't see the fumble coming (yeah call me slow, but I thought he was going to show that pass to Witten against the G-Men).
