Romo was a little better today. He missed on a few throws and we had some key drops but overall he played his best when it counted most inside two minutes. I believe he was 6 for 6 and the game winning TD inside two minutes. It wasn't a "spotlight" game like some around here like to call it but if we lose this game at home, there's avery good chance the wheels come off and we blow the lead in the NFC East.

silly meaningless conference game at home against a crappy team

signed media

btw, Dan Patrick said, after ANOTHER fourth quarter INT,, so you know that would have been the story had we not won

According to SOME on this board, it had to have been Accidental because the Offense SUCKED today.

Besides that drive- they were nowhere near excellent.

Or did you see something I didn't?

Call a spade a spade... C'mon.

Call it.

I heard that too. He was so excited to say it, it's comical. Dungy gave him some credit though.

The game where Romo was 34-51 for 314 yds and 2 TD's.

How many NFL QBs are playing without a running game and is asked to carry his team who also has no defense on a weekly basis?

I think Romo is doing pretty well.

I do too. With arguably the worst defense in NFL history, he' managed to lead the team to 5 wins so far

The INT was a silly throw & uncalled for after the horrible hands to the face on Bernadeau when the defensive player was giving it right back to him + Beasley-Witten-Dez-Williams drops & Dez penalty all killed drives & left points off the scoreboard, but I guess those will be failed to mention.

They should be mentioned. The whole offense was not focused. But on bad days like this romo is partly responsible as Qb to get those guys focused and going as a team. He did it at the end. But this team needs romo to be more of a field general. He is a great athlete but needs to be the guy that pulls everyone together and get everyone on the same page and playing with high intensity throughout the whole game. I'm hoping that the game winning drive will be something he can build on.

It was a decent game by Romo. 314 yards on 51 attempts really isn't very good -- it's only 6.1 yards/attempt which is bad enough to get most teams who can't run the ball a loss. I can't blame him for the drops.

Romo hadn't won a game where he passed more 50 times for 8 years so the victory today definitely a challenging one.

Romo was fine today. He was off on a few throws and the INT was a poor decision but there were a few drives ended by drops or penalties and considering the Oline play he did well.

Bigger test next week.

go back and rewatch that play, twill was horrible, one of the laziest routes i have ever seen, very little effort

He should have had 10 completions in 8 passes! I'm starting to sound like some of the other pessimistic people on here who bash everything win or lose.

Romo did a great job driving the ball down the field and he has proven once again why we will miss him once he's gone!

Let me ask this, if we had a lot less time on the last drive, and Tony was forced to throw down field, do you think the result would have been the same?

I am not ready to rub the anointing oil on Twill just yet. He needs to work on his hands in practice. He doesn't catch it very clean. Lots of bobbles on throws that are perfect. He is definitely speedy though and looks good on the deep slants and fly routes. But the stick routes and Ins that have "hot" throws with some zip on them, his hands need some work. Get out the jugs machine and spend some time with it young man.
