We have zero pressure now and the stigma of Romo never winning the big game wont be there. Teams always play their best when they have nothing to lose and no pressure. Look at the Eagles last week, Bears looked tight and the Eagles looked so loose. We will beat the Eagles, book it..

The team will rally around Orton and they will play their best. Spread only went up 4 points, so that tells you that its not a major deal.

The only reason it matters is it may give Jerry an excuse to keep Garrett for another year which would be a colossal mistake. As far as the game goes, with Garrett calling the shots, we really have no chance of winning no matter who the QB is.

Said no one ever ... Maybe Ufcrules1, but that's about it.

If I'm not mistaken, I think noshame and maybe gameover have always preferred Orton over Romo....could have them mixed up with someone else though.

I guess Cowboyfan74 joins them as well.

In any case, I hope Kyle has a great game. Anyone is capable of that on a short term basis.
I think with the better line this year, the offense can operate ok with semi-jag player like him. I've seen him have good games before.

Last time he faced the Philly defensive coordinator, however, he had 3 picks and his team lost by 30.

Everybody has to step up there games to make up for tony missing. Whoever calls the plays is going to have to protect Orton. Give him some easy throws to gain confidence. Establish the run and win the time of possession battle. Ball control offense.

I don't think Philly is all that. We get a lot of injured players back this week. And we get the eagles at home. That's the only reason I say we have a chance. A slim chance I'll add but not counting them out.

Orton's has shown throughout his career he can win games. Problem is, he's shown he can lose them as well. No surprise either way. I'm just anxious to see how this staff adjusts with Romo out, of he is out anyways.

How can there be zero pressure on the Cowboys in a game that has the division title and a playoff birth is on the line? Regardless who their QB is the Cowboys are playing to save their season on Sunday Night so they'll be plenty of pressure especially when for a team that hasn't been to the playoffs since 09 and has lost in this same scenario the last 2 seasons. The Cowboys have lost a regular season elimination game in week 17 to every team in the division since 08. The Eagles have gotten where they are this season with a second year QB who started the season as their backup. At the start of the season Orton was regarded by most as the best backup QB in the league.

The Packers have started a journeymen QB in 6 games this season who wasn't even with the team at the start of the season and will be playing to save their season in week 17. The Bears are still alive after starting a journeymen QB for part of the season. You can try spinning it anyway you want but anytime you're playing to save your season in week 17 there's pressure regardless of your QB situation. There's pressure on the coaching staff and on the defense that's been an embarrassment this season. There's pressure on Orton to show he's worth the 10 million Jerry is paying him to stand on the sidelines for a situation like this.

Don't kid yourself he Eagles were under a lot of pressure to play well last week after getting thumped the previous week 48-30 to a 4 win Vikings team that was minus Adrian Peterson. Matt Cassel another journeymen QB who was a backup to start the season lit up Philly for 382 yards and 2 TD's.. Had they lost to the Bears their confidence would have been shot heading into Dallas Sunday Night regardless who's playing QB for the Cowboys. Once a team starts going south this time of year they're done. Philly's season may not have been riding on last weeks game but they needed to play well to gain some momentum heading into the final week.

And if we lose, you can point to the chokejobs against the lions and packers for why we aren't in the playoffs.

HAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA.............Romo never won a big game?............So the 2009 playoff game against the Eagles is no longer a big game?.......A freaking playoff game does not count now?

Sorry, but anybody that thinks an NFL playoff game is not a "big game" is either a troll or afflicted with a sudden case of stupid.
