And if the Eagles roll us.....................you are going to get laughed off this board..................fair warning.

No, if he said that the Eagles were going to blow us out of AT&T stadium but then the Cowboys won, then he should get laughed off this board. I just don't see why a poster that's predicting a Cowboys win should get "laughed off" a Cowboys message board if a loss occurs.

If I'm not mistaken, I think noshame and maybe gameover have always preferred Orton over Romo....could have them mixed up with someone else though.

I guess Cowboyfan74 joins them as well.

In any case, I hope Kyle has a great game. Anyone is capable of that on a short term basis.
I think with the better line this year, the offense can operate ok with semi-jag player like him. I've seen him have good games before.

Last time he faced the Philly defensive coordinator, however, he had 3 picks and his team lost by 30.

You are right, I would prefer Orton over Romo in his current condition, and givin the fact that Orton will make this a totally different offense than teams have seen all year. Although I'm not expecting Orton to come in with no PT in the last 2 seasons and play mistake football either. That said, I'm afraid Chip will shred this defense like it's not there, and we'll be in a shoot out.

Because he is saying that its a lock with Orton because Romo sucks so bad...............ergo, his boy Orton is going to light the Eagles up..............now if Orton blows and we lose, then his whole scenario is garbage..........laughing commence.

And for the record, if anybody thinks that Orton is a superior QB to Romo......................they are either trolling are suddenly afflicted with a severe case of stupid.

Reading comprehension friend.....................learn it......................please point out where I said I was hoping for a loss.

People can read between the lines
, we all know what you mean. Most of your post have to do with JG getting fire (which I want also) so you must have been torn when Romo threw the game winner last week. No you didn't say you wanted the Cowboys to lose but your hundreds of posts about wanting Garrett fired said it for you.

Pretty sure the best case scenario, in any game, is to go in full strength with your starters healthy.

Dont worry cupcake........if we get rolled, you will get laughed off the board as well...............nobody is leaving you out.

As if that couldn't or would never happen with the immortal 25-28(since 2010) Tony Romo! Remember, we're 8-7 w/ romo

We have zero pressure now and the stigma of Romo never winning the big game wont be there. Teams always play their best when they have nothing to lose and no pressure. Look at the Eagles last week, Bears looked tight and the Eagles looked so loose. We will beat the Eagles, book it..

You are delusional. We will need to score 35+ points to beat the Eagles. I don't see how we can do that with Orton. We have an awful defense... The eagles will torch us, so we need a QB that can keep up with them. Orton is a decent QB, and I am sure he could put some points up with help from Murray, Dez, etc. But he is not the type of QB that will get us 35+ points.

I expected the Cowboys to lose even with Romo playing. We barely beat a horrible Commanders team that had no business leading the game in the 4th quarter. We have been blown out twice in the past 5 games. And we blew a 23 point lead against a very weak Green Bay team. Anything can happen in the NFL, so of course we have a chance, but the odds are not in our favor.

You're just pointing out how valuable Romo has been. Since 2010, opposing QB have averaged a 92.7 rating against the Dallas defense.

This year, the average team whose defense gives up an average pass rating in the 90's is 5-10.

Dallas has pressure to win with or without Romo. This stigma is for the fans and media and this crud nothing to lose? They have as much to lose no matter who is behind center.

5-3 when Garrett took over. Lost one game bc kicker missed extra point(not to mention the int's that went off Miles's hands). Lost other bc Roy Williams was stripped of the ball. Easily could've been 7-1 w/o the valuable one!

Since 2006, when Romo doesn't play, we're 1-7 when the defense doesn't get at least 3 takeaways or hold the opponent under 10 points.
