Now everyone is going to be looking that that... Romo will have to change it up.

About the only thing they could do is call a timeout. Romo just recognized that Bradley was alone in man and I assume changes his route. Not like the CB can do much differently.

I think it is the equivalent of Romo telling Dez ,"Hey look a free touchdown".

Don't think that is exactly rocket science or required of a decoder. lol.

True, but if I am a free safety and I can see that... I am moving right on top of Dez

Yeah but if the safety leaves his assignment, something else is probably wide open. It was just a bad defensive call and there was nothing legal the corner could do about it.

They were showing blitz/10 men in box. Romo even said after game thumbs up just meant run route they already called anyway. It wasn't a signal to change anything, just run what they called. Which was go route vs. 1 on 1 press coverage. Bryant beat his guy, Romo looked off safety (still had Williams, Beasley & Witten going out too) and dropped pass in perfectly to Dez.

Next time he does a thumbs up it might mean run route that was called and that could be a slant.

Is that like Rogers laughing at the EaGirls defense when he played against them? Romo has more class.

On a serious note, I saw it on the post game interview where Romo said that was a signal to Dez telling him to go with the route that was discussed in the huddle.

By that time the defense is already set in their play and ready to go. They can't exactly do anything about it at that point. I thought it was hilarious. He basically told the Eagles defender what was coming and stop it if you can.

Romo was asked about that, and he indicated that, but also said he couldn't give away anything they are doing, then smiled.

No you're not. Because a) you have multiple wide receivers to your left you're also responsible for helping and Romo held you with his eyes to the left before throwing right.

More likely you hope your coordinator doesn't put you in an impossible situation.

Easy read on Romo part, philly had safeties up with no help over the top, send Dez deep and hang it up for him to go get it.
