he proved it to me after the Carolina game.:starspin

I was at that game and we left thinking the same thing.

He brought us back from 14 down, in his first start in the NFL, on the road.

I think I heard over the weekend that he is like only the 3rd QB in NFL history to do that, ... down by 14 in his first start and then bring his team back to victory.

I love to watch him play !

SonnyBoy had a good point. On the first play in a situation like that, most teams will try throwing something underneath the coverage hoping to pick up some quick positive yards. The Giants probably didn't expect the bomb.

i was there lastnight and thought romo played a pretty poor game. he was overthrowing a lot. threw a few picks. came through in the cluitch but he still played his worst game since the last giant game.
But that's the point. He played poorly most of the game but still came through with clutch plays when needed to win. That's the mark that a guy has "it" and that's why I feel we now know what Romo really is. I hate Brady but that's what he does when he is not so good in a game. Just ask Detroit yesterday.

The only thing that bothered me yesterday is that it sucks that Romo continuously has to scramble or move out of the pocket because of the inability of the OLine to freaking block someone.

Manning had to move out of the pocket, but only a couple of times. I wish we had the passrush that NY has, and I wish we could block fast DEs.

Yep, but sure hopes he returns to earlier form which we Cowboy fans so enjoy. Someone on this board posted comment that Giants were playing Romo like they did Peyton Manning--moving around a lot presnap, bringing pressure, etc. Expect to see NO try do the same thing but their defense isn't really that good but are coached well and do what they can.

We better bring lot of pressure on Brees however we do it and be prepared put points on the board. With Seattle's win, they tied at 8-4 with NO & Cowboys but based on division play we would come in as lesser seed. Beating NO should make us #3 seed and all we can hope is that someone knocks off Seattle. Was hoping Broncos could do it.

I think our gameplan is going to change somewhat(especially on offense) now that we have for now a reliable kicker. We are not going to be as aggressive on offesne as we had been, especially in the red zone. We saw some of it yesterday.

I don't like this. Romo seems like such a perfect fit for the aggessive style we had been playing. But hey if it turns into wins for us I will take them, I just like the aggression we had been showing as of late and putting them away early with TD's instead of Fg's.
