Romo has played 10 games this season.

I guess Brett isn't a big game championship QB cause the jets lost today to the 49ers.

No he's total garbage too cut him and draft another first round bust from South Central New Hampshire State Tech A&M University because he has a good 40 time and benched 235 28 times.

again I will say

Big time championship QB's win big games on the road or in the playoffs in tight situations.

See Seattle in 06

Giants 07

Steelers 08

at some point you either have that "it" factor or you do not..

Undefeated Indianapolis Colts '06, Packers '07, Packers '08, @Washington '08.

He also needs to not be audibling out of 3rd and 6's to draws against the top Run Defense. He's has been horrible at most of his play changes at the line this season, he should only be allowed to do that on 1st 2nd down once in awhile. Let Garret call the game some...especially late.

And that's where tough coaching comes in. You think Cowher, a young Parcells or Ditka wouldn't get in a quarterback's ear if he kept audiblizing out of a play the coach called?

But Garrett nor Wade have the intestinal fortitude to tell Romo to "Stick to the game plan."

So Romo freelances ... into mistakes and bad play calls.

If you are going to ask that, I'll ask a much more important question..."In 3 seasons how many games in December/January has Romo WON with his play??"

Who cares about the regular season in the big picture? The goal is to win championships. GAME-SET-MATCH.

And winning championships is a team endeavor. How did Aikman fare in the playoffs once the team around him began deteriorating? One of my last memories of Aikman is the Cardinals getting their only playoff win in fifty years.

Romo has not been great in his two playoff appearances, but he hasn't played poorly either.

Try again.

Brett WAS a big game championship QB. It remains to be seen whether he still is.

Brett lost MORE big games than he won.
Brett INT'd his way to losses when his teams had the lead.

Dont get me started. Please :D

There was plenty of blame to go around in all our losses, but he also played horrible in the AZ and Wash home game.

The protection was poor against AZ, and other than his sole INT, he didn't perform poorly against the Skins.

It is going to be 70 with no wind sunday night.

We will see how the giants fare against a motivated romo with the season on the line.

I would bet my money on romo this week.

No offense, but you make bad points, and nobody has to "prove" anything to you. (plus i think you may stink...something in here does.)

I fear that he's developing bad habits that cater to his risk-taking nature. Sure, he'll win games playing that way. But he'll also lose his share at the most critical of times - like today.

They are only big games when Romo loses...

So, once again, how many games this season have actually been lost on Romo's poor play?

And they're only "legit" defenses if they're able to stymie Romo. The argument is unfalsifiable.

Are you Mr. Romo (Tony's Dad)?

Jessica?

Mr. Simpson? (the creepy father?)

Sorry bro but that's low standard loser mentality...think about what you are saying. You just gave me the definition of a mediocre QB. Sorry but I want an ELITE QB going into the playoffs. I want a QB that wins huge games in hostile situations with smart throws and discipline with the football. Romo gets there and the cowboy world will change but Right now it is same ol same ol mediocrity and mediocrity is like cancer. It sets in slowly and spreads....we are year 13+ at the spread not just with Romo fair to say.

colts 06 so what regular season game that was meaningless in the end

packer games big deal...

washington got us back on track.,.

but I want some real wins...

late in the season on the road in Pittsburgh then a home win vs the giants then beat the ravens..

then you know you are on to something . not meaningless games in seasons that you dont even win a playoff game in.

until i see wins like that... it nothing more than a 10-6 ,9-7 season. maybe you are in the playoff maybe not and if you are you are losing in the first round

Where, pray tell, did I ever demand proof of anything? I merely asked two very simple questions, which certain people have been trying desperately to run around.

Actually, it's a realistic mentality. No single player has ever won a championship on his own, regardless of his elite statue.

Did the Giants rid themselves of Eli after his playoff flameouts? Did the Colts cut Peyton Manning after his teams suffered a few premature playoff exits early in his career?

Of course not...on both counts. Even the Great Joe Montana lost a a few playoff games in his career...at home, no less.

Winning championships is a team endeavor, and in order to progress in a substantive manner, team management must identify the real reasons it isn't winning in the playoffs.

And Romo is not one of those reasons for the Cowboys.
