Romo haters will get what they want soon enough...

Part of me agrees with you in a big way. I love the Cowboys and Cowboys Nation, but a sizable portion of our fans just don't have a clue, and all they want to do is tear down Tony. They bask in his failures. Welp, have fun with whoever the next guy is. And honestly, Romo is such a great QB and class act that I'm starting to think he deserves better than what this POS organization is giving him.

Of course, I'd be devastated if he left and we'd be terrible. But there is that part of me that thinks a chunk of our fans deserve it.

This is exactly how i feel

I don't think Romo re-signs with this garbage organization and to honest I wouldn't blame him. What is going to be funny after this happens is how many Romo haters are going to be lamenting his departure when they realize how good he really was and how bad his replacement really is.

Face it...Jerry Jones is terrible and I have no faith that he will find a replacement when Tony is gone. Some of you are calling for the Campo days again and unfortunately for you they are coming. In fact, without #9 they would already be here.

0-4 without Tony Romo...easily. Most underappreciated quarterback in the league without a doubt.

I like Romo my man, but that was a pathetic game by him last night. Now granted some of those picks werent all him, but you have to expect some back lash after a 5 pick game.

But I am also at the point where I would almost like to see Romo get a shot on another team so he can get his SB run. No way he is doing it here.

You bet it is. Fans give up that is what you do

Dude, seriously. What are you reading?

I don't see any fans giving up. I certainly am not.

I see fans that think Romo deserves better than what this Dallas organization is putting out there with him.

I tend to agree. It's a joke. This team is a joke.

Don't confuse reality with your blind homerism.

Yes I am seeing this hissy fit post and again Romo is not going anywheres and yes I think he feels this team can make it. You guys quite that is what you do Romo will not.
Nobody is quitting. We're being realistic. After watching game after game after game after game, after year after year after year after year of heartbreaking, soulcrushing, rage-inducing worthless crap football from this inept organization, I think we have a right to be a wee bit angry. We're being force-fed the same ol' bull.

Also, only part of me wants Tony to go, and it's not because I don't love him (see my handle, I'm a massive Romo backer). It's because I love the guy and think he deserves better than this. If he stays here and finishes his career here (he ain't gettin any younger) and never has his shot at a Super Bowl, it will be an absolute travesty.

Ware deserves to win a superbowl just as much, if not more than Romo. He, Romo, and Witten, all had their prime years wasted here in a losing culture. Now we'll watch Murray and Lee will do the same.

It's painful to watch Romo in a game like last night's, but I don't put the blame on him. What I saw last night was our QB trying to make something out of nothing and getting picked off 5 times because he's TRYING TO DO IT ALL BY HIMSELF!! His receivers drop passes, tip passes (causing INT's); they don't run their routes right; his O-line breaks down on him, causing him to rush his passes. I'm not sure if Joe-freakin'-Montana could do better with what Tony has to work with!! :bang2:

Romo can't win in Dallas so he needs to go else where that is not hard to figure out. Homerism has nothing to do with anything, You don't think this team can ever achive their goal and the only way Romo can get a ring is going some where else. Please this self loathing BS is for quitters and that I all I see in this thread.

We should just release him.

Reading some of the posts today, it would make fans happy. He sucks!!!!

We don't deserve Romo.

Although I'm a fan. I hope he leaves us high and dry. So I can laugh at this fan base when we go through more torment than we ever experienced with Romo.

You want Orton? ok, you just might get your wish.

You defend Romo and rightfully so. But then you defend the likes of Garrett and the Oline wrongfully so. What good is your opinion if you defend anything an everything Cowboy a the cost of reality and proper analysis?

Do you people listen to yourself? :lmao:

Romo is not leaving and will resign with the Cowboys.

I hope he stays but if he is in an offense where he can't be protected, I wouldn't be mad if he left and I would wish him well.

I defend the O-line?

**** no man. At least 3 of them need to be shipped off somewhere

Garrett?

I don't know man, i just know we need a new offensive direction.

Frankly I felt the OL did a pretty decent job, there was many times Romo had time. Bears have a very good front so they were going to make some plays no matter what OL they face but the overall I felt the pass protection was much improved. Run blocking still not there at this stage.

Yes, I have a deep loathing for this team right now. And, it ain't BS...

It is BS that Jerry Jones has destroyed this once proud franchise.

And, give me one reason. Just one. Where you think Romo can win it all here?

I think you are going to have to look real hard because it is hidden someplace real deep somewhere..

I think they will find Hoffa before Romo , or Ware or Witten win anything in Dallas.

You are correct that Romo is constantly behind the 8 ball. But if you cant critique Romo properly after a 5 pick night, then you have zero ability to be non biased and rational.

YOu would be better served by saying that Romo played terrible last night and leave it at that. It would do no harm to note that he didnt get any help from his teamates, but none the less, that was a bad game for him. He would man up and tell you the same thing. In fact, I am reading an article right now where he is manning up. Time for you to man up.

+1, couldn't agree more. People always say this team has no heart, no leadership, they're soft, etc., but Ware, Witten, and Romo are tough as nails and true winners. They've been placed in a losing culture and surrounded by ineptness. I really hope those guys get their chance.

Fair enough on the Oline thing.

Cowher and Chucky. These are real coaches that arent learning on the job. These guys would come in with swagger. The first thing they would do is stack the Oline and get physical. Not the last thing. Garrett and Jerry have obviously targetted the Oline as a place they can save money and go cheap on talent.
