Romo haters will get what they want soon enough...

This forum is full of some complete football whack jobs...

Chaos is seldom rewarded with success, so let's just settle down a bit on the
let's-blow-up-the-team attitudes.

I doubt Tony would leave, because he's content with things as they are in his life. He has a good life outside of football, even if some of us think he should be living at Valley Ranch.

Insanity is hardly ever rewarded with success, so maybe we should stop doing the same old things but expecting different results.

If Tony does choose to go elsewhere, it would most likely indicate that even his level of tolerance can no longer be justified; that he also sees the Cows being led to the slaughter. In that case, I would hope that he gets traded before next season, and extra draft picks can aid the continued rebuiling through youth.

Romo isn't even the best quarterback on this team.

We have far too many seriously ignorant people on this forum. Do you guys gather somewhere once a week?

I personally think there's a non zero chance he doesn't resign with us or sign with anyone else and just has a good time with his hot wife, child, and the money he hasn't blown like every other athlete.

Dude has plenty of hobbies. He obviously likes Dallas. If the team doesn't get better, I think I could see him just saying screw it and playing basketball at Lifetime fitness every afternoon after he finishes 18.

I can see that.
I can also see him doing that for one year, realizing he misses it too much, and coming back to an NFL team.

Gotta love it when the 2nd string QB of any team becomes the fan favorite..

Geeze.. I can't believe how many brain cells I probably have lost by reading some of the moronic ******* quotes in the last 3 pages of this thread...

Carry on...

Hey these guys aren't the only fools around. The Jet fans are yelling for TEBOW.

Sometimes you can't make this crap up.:banghead:

Romo is a very talented QB. I like Romo. I always stick up for him when i get ambushed by friends and coworkers.

I see a talented guy, who makes a lot of plays, avoids a lot of sacks, doesn't get much help with his swiss cheese OL, can thread the needle under pressure, and can lead his team to victory.

But I can also see through the glasses.....

I see a guy who at times has brain farts, misses open WRs (like all QB's do), isn't on the same page, throws an INT at the worst possible time, and fumbles way too much because he's trying to make something out of nothing.

He has hurt this team as much as he has helped them IMO.

Please , let somebody out at Valley Ranch realize this guy(Romo) is a bum.

What a fool. Ask the bears about Orton.

Because he's so good at avoiding sacks and hits. Doesn't mean the offensive line is doing a good job. Tony is making them look alot better then they actually are as usual.

This...

Some people can't see that though.

Just turn on espn, and go from there

Considering the mass agreement across this board and across our entire fanbase that our OL sucks.. i fail to see how Tony is making them look much better than they actually are. If he was, we wouldn't be saying how much they suck, we'd be saying how improved they look from last year til this year.

Our OL, is a big problem.

People play it by numbers, especially the media.

So the fact that sacks are down, they go off of that.

They don't count the times Romo had to duck and dodge defenders. The OL, anybody watching would say they are a liability

So we agree then. lol

Our OL sucks and its inhibiting the play of the rest of our offense, but while, in the past, Tony has been able to overcome shoddy OL play and still make some plays, he doesn't seem to be able to do that this year so far.

For me.. OL is priority one this offseason, followed by DL as a close second.

:laugh2:

A first in a long time

I agree, early rounds and FA, I would go heavy O-line.....then DL/outside LB, after that Safety(Unless Matt really shows something, which i think he can)

That order though.

Though we know we'll be looking at corners and WR's in the first round again next year, lol.

The issue with Romo is the time he didn't get a snap while Bledsoe was quarterback and the lack of the organization to mature him. I have watched him over the last 3 years and he has been better but this cost him. Romo wouldn't do much better with another team he needs to have better command and more self confidence. 5 ints in the last game doesn't cut it and usually he is good for one which means he is still not feeling comfortable where he is. I also question the offensive coordinators judgements. At this point Jerry won't part with Romo and would fire someone else. All it takes is the right connection to Romo's psyche and he could be great!

JG- 2013 Draft... "We took the best available player, that's how we draft" (Which happened to be WR) :bang2:

lol, I can see it happening now. This board will explode.

Honestly, I will admit. This is the first off season and draft, where I really want to work on the guys up front. I love my skill players, but i see what is truly playing a hand in holding us back.

Romo would also give a thumbs up to those saying that he is not playing well right now and needs to be better in order for this team to be successful.

OL is bad, but skill players hurt the team more than the line does.

I cant believe the line gets all the criticism, when Tony overrthrew two td passes, Ogletree fumbled at the eleven yard line, you telling me a better offensive line cures all that?

That's a potential 21 points we left on the field, that had nothing to do with how bad the offensive line is.
