The guy in the green is really checking out JGs.....ahem.....assets..Garrett seemed to enjoy it.
Wait. That is his facial expression all of the time.
They did in 2011 what 29 others teams did not, so you have to give them some credit for their one and only NBA championship. That said, what the Mavs have done in any other season is really beside the point. The Mavs were terrible this season and now Romo is honorarily terrible by association.I'm not a mavs fan. I was making a joke. They never should won that. That's why I said handed to them.

Sadly, people can be fickle and sometimes are.Dirk and Romos careers are near mirror images of each other. People glorify Dirk now, but before he drug his team to a championship, he was just an awkward white guy who wasn't good enough to get it done when it mattered. He was unfairly criticized in the same way Romo has been. After he won though, everyone acts as if those things weren't said. He's one of the greatest ever now. He's also been surrounded by horrible rosters for the majority of his career. The only difference is he won a ring and people act like he's a different player because of it.
They talked about this on talking Cowboys today. And Rumblings around the NBA are that the Mavs put on a Clown show with Romo. Did it only to sell tickets and jerseys. To have Romo out on the court during warmups made alot of owners mad.

As long as they are mad every game when fans are shooting half court shots during a break in the game, but not actually playing in the game. They talked about this on talking Cowboys today. Yeah, wouldn't want to upset the purity of the game. It's not like 15 teams haven't been tanking for over a month or anything. They talked about this on talking Cowboys today. That's DFW sports fans for you. Just like Darvish doesn't have "the will to win" when he was losing games 0-1 multiple times. Or how he didn't care enough because he sat out the last month of a bad season with elbow inflammation only to need Tommy John before the next season even started. I've only known DFW fans, but they thoroughly annoy me with their stupidity sometimes.Yep
As a Mavs season ticket holder for nearly 20 years, I know Dirk's story very well.
I remember so many saying he was a choker and a loser.
Tragic comedy, until it was proven orherwise.
Unfortunately, one player can FAR more dictate a basketball game.
5 starters who play offense AND defense
Vs
24+ starters (with kickers and not including the rest of special teams) who only play either offense or defense or kicker.
No sport is more interdependent than football.
Its one of the things that makes it such a great team sport.
I wouldnt put Tony on Dirk's level regardless of playoff success though.
But at one time, yes, the stories were very similar and both totally unjust.
The game they honored Romo they lost to the Denver Chicken Nuggets, 91-109.They won. It was just like the falcon patriots though. The heat blew that series.

I like your optimism. If romo played they would've came back in the 4th lol
Be assured that logic has sometimes escaped the comprehension of sports fans (and people in general) all over the world. No one community or sub-community lacks or exceeds any other in that sense--although one community may appear more expressive about not knowing something than the next. That's DFW sports fans for you. So Romo enters with his family but leaves with Zeke...this can't be good news.
