Romo Injury

Dude has a punctured lung. If he takes another big hit there and the lung collapses, there's a chance he dies. Is it even worth debating that that isn't worth the risk?

this :laugh2: :laugh2:

people who say he should play have NO IDEA what they are talking about

he needs to sit until after the bye week

About time you posted.

No, he has the team inspired. Sitting him now is a backwards step.
Agreed. His return did a lot more than help them win that one game.

Also, I think we should all center our posts from now on ;)

As much as I want him to play, he needs to sit and heal. I've been through a lung collapse and it is by far the worst pain in the world!! I had a lung collapse at 14 before I was paralyzed and I couldn't move or take a breath without being in extreme pain. Had to have a chest tube put into me while awake and then recover and NO softball for the rest of the summer.

I don't know how he did it Sunday, and add the broken ribs to it -- a pain killer will not knock that pain out, not even a little bit. It was indeed a heroic, great game for him, but the man needs to heal. You don't want to risk further injury where he will need a chest tube. I don't wish that on anyone.

I highly doubt doctors will clear him to play, but if they do -- I hope our O-line can protect him.
