Don't forget. In the GB playoff game, he was spun to the ground, wasn't even hit. He could barely get up. He struggled to hand the ball off to Murray the next two plays and thankfully Murray had a long run and then a short touchdown because Romo wouldn't have been able to pass the ball. Thankfully he was able to complete the game, which was the last 2 drives where we didn't score.

Yeah,he kept saying that each season too. But the reality was he kept getting hurt. I’m not playing around with some guys spine...just so I can root for a QB. No thank you...go enjoy your golf and things. I did hate the way it ended though. I wanted him to have that one last season,or at least go out in something other than a stupid pre-season game. OMG Stop. The guy is retired. He broke his back falling forward. Let it go already.

Wrong.. he was sliding forward when he saw an oncoming LB like 7 yards away and blindsided from behind by a DL who was engaged with Smith when Romo took off to open field, and Romo was then folded into a seated position.

As spine doctors said, it was TEXTBOOK FOOTBALL TRAUMA, meaning that type of injury is basic for any athlete, and it wouldn’t prevent him from playing again, and would a six week healing period and they were right.

Further, technically the hit was crossing the line of a dirty hit because when a QB is sliding the defender has to back off to period.

People just got to keep making up stories to justify that we got a bum starting QB that can’t even throw past ten yards.

Why would he want to come back to this dysfunctional mess even if he could?

Playing for a Garrett/Linehan offense or hanging out in the booth doing something he's very good at and can probably do for 20 more years of he chooses. Tough choice.
