tony and jason garrett both can hit the road now.

i just watched a real qb play this game and he is a rookie.

matt ryan is a rookie and he and flacco will both be in the playoffs.

anyone still believe this man is our qb of the future?

there is a certain mindset required to be a championship qb in the nfl.

tony does not nor ever will have it.

I'd much rather you hit the road with Garrett. That would actually help Dallas a lot more.

Looking at things without my emotions involved,

I think Garrett needs to go to school this offseason, talk to some experienced OC, devise a plan to make this offense explosive by using the run game to set up explosive plays downfield, and be patient.

If you look at BP ( and I don't like Bill Parcells that much ) but he knew how to slow down the game and had patience, just too much patience.

If Garrett can combine the patience, with explosiveness and stop worrying about putting up 350 yards passing stats a game, we could win games like Pittsburgh does it. This is how the 90s Cowboys won games, but just slowly walking down the field and putting a knife in your heart.

If you do that, Romo will flourish, but when you know he's just going to drop back every play and fling it, it's easy to defend it.

You might regret asking this question, because as I have stated in another of my threads, please click my user name and find all my posts. You will see where I really flamed Romo after the Steeler loss.

To answer your question, I believe in Romo. When it looked like the Ravens were about to pull away, Romo pulled us right back in the game, not once, but twice. To me, while this was a hard loss Romo showed some guts, fire and passion. Romo does deserve a little blame, but when everything was on the line, Romo did all he could and there was nothing he could do to stop back to back 75+ yard TD runs.

I am proud of the way Romo finished the game, he gave everything he possibly could. Sure he missed some important throws earlier in the game, but maybe you should ask yourself if maybe the beating his took against the Giants and a bad back might have been a reason for him being not as sharp early in the game. We lost, but I am proud of how Romo never quit in this game. He nearly got us to a win, but there was only so much he could do.

So to answer your question, yeah, I believe in Romo. I will get p*ssed off with him in the future I am sure, but I am again proud of how he overcame a bad start and did everything he could have to give a chance to pull off a last minute win.

I agree he hasn't won anything...he's over rated...he can't win big games let alone a playoff game... Gid rid of Peyton Manning now!!!! He sucks!!!

Oh wait, the flux capacitor just kicked in, I'm back.

He won what? Really?

This offensive scheme is a problem.. It was great last year when no one knew about it. Now this year people know how to stop it. Romo would thrive in a Westcoast offense. He would tear defenses apart. Im amazed at how he can put up 300+ yards in this simplistic offense that doesn't play to his strengths.

Romo made a couple of bad decisions and the Ravens got 3 points off those turnovers. He missed a couple of throws and had one where he threw it perfectly, but the receiver lost it in the lights.

He also had guys running right at him free a lot of the night.

He also had the defense calling out our plays before we ran them.

He also brought us back twice and gave us a chance to win which the defense choked away both times.

It's the offensive line and a lack of discipline that killed us. We can fix the discipline issue by changing coaches and help the line issues if Jerry addresses it in the draft. Since I believe Wade will return and Jerry will make some moves in free agency giving away some more picks, I expect another circus next year with T.O., Pacman and an unhappy Roy Williams at WR. Jerry should not have hired Singletary and not given recent contracts to Flozell and T.O.

romo is not a championship qb.

aikman is a championship qb.

roger is a championship qb.

tony is a qb that can't handle pressure.

his stupid *** throws led to our demise.

I hope Romo's enjoying the ride. He was so sure at the beginning of the season that they would get a chance to redeem themselves of last years playoff loss. That's why you should never take home field advantage for granted.

You're drunk, lane.

You don't want Romo gone. Garrett I can understand, but it's too hard to find a good QB to just dump Romo.

Why?

So we can watch the same late season meltdowns with a different QB and OC?

I got it! We can find a QB who's terrible in September, October, and November and save ourselves the trouble of worrying about December.
