No ones forgetting Romos turnovers that resulted in 3 points TOTAL for the Ravens. He scored more than that in the 4th quarter. While it was for sure not one of Romos better games, he got them back in the 2nd half to be within reach of winning that game.

Romo's turnovers and lack of any sustained drives in the first half gave the Ravens confidence as the game played out, and also kept the defense on the field way too long, thus they gassed out at the end and couldn't tackle anyone.

If Romo doesn't stink the place out in the first half the Cowboys likely win that game by 2 scores.

I'm pissed at both of them but it's not over yet. I'm getting sick of seeing Owens dropping too many passes though. dropping that td pissed me off. I think choice scored after it but he's gotta catch those.

The truth is TONY ROMO CANNOT handle pressure he is not a "clutch" quarterback. He is very good in regular situations, but when the pressure is on he cannot handle it mentally. He falls apart and FOLDS.

We need to a NEW QUARTERBACK!

I live in Commander country. And I defend Romo time and time again. But it is getting harder and harder to defend him. Against teams like the Steelers, Ravens etc....Ball security is of utmost importanace...and for him to just blindly toss the ball up for anyone to get it is laughable. Throw it out of bounds....take a sack....run with it...but to just lob the ball up is mind blowing. And he does it with such regularity you wonder if he is coachable. For all of Brett Favres antics he has ONE Super Bowl trophy. And if you tell me today that Romo is going to win ONE over the next 15 years I will tell you I do not want him. Seriously. He is the best thing we've had since Troy....but 15 years of being a good team with intereception after interception for NO reason other than "it is the gunslinger in me". I could livee without that bull crap

Looking at things without my emotions involved,

I think Garrett needs to go to school this offseason, talk to some experienced OC, devise a plan to make this offense explosive by using the run game to set up explosive plays downfield, and be patient.

If you look at BP ( and I don't like Bill Parcells that much ) but he knew how to slow down the game and had patience, just too much patience.

If Garrett can combine the patience, with explosiveness and stop worrying about putting up 350 yards passing stats a game, we could win games like Pittsburgh does it. This is how the 90s Cowboys won games, but just slowly walking down the field and putting a knife in your heart.

If you do that, Romo will flourish, but when you know he's just going to drop back every play and fling it, it's easy to defend it.
true clock management/however you have to make the 3rd down plays to keep drives alive and this team struggles with that.

Those points would make sense if Romo didn't get them within 2 points TWICE & the Defense ALLOWED a RB to run 77 & 82 yards on the FIRST PLAY.

By the way, the Cowboys were only down 2 points prior to Halftime. I guess you were looking at a wall instead of the game.

Blah, blah, blah....

Typical blame Romo.

Who would you rather have that is available? I'll wait.....
What's wrong with blaming Romo? He screwed up? I wish he'd drop the "aw shucks" attitude and step up to the mic and say "I screwed up. I cost us this game."

3 bad passes: 1st INT (defense bails him out), 2nd INT...throwing into that much coverage..come on that's just flat out stupidity. The deep pass to Austin..rushed it when he didn't have to. He had the protection he could have set his feet and then let it go but nope.

And I'm sure somebody will say "have you ever played?" or "hitting a wide open receiver is not easy" well...that's why they pay him the $$...to make those passes.

Well said.... Just be a man and step up to the mic and say it was my fault.

*side note* He had TO streaking down the field and the throw was to the wrong shoulder (inside instead of outside)... That's the 4th bad pass.

tony and jason garrett both can hit the road now.

i just watched a real qb play this game and he is a rookie.

matt ryan is a rookie and he and flacco will both be in the playoffs.

anyone still believe this man is our qb of the future?

there is a certain mindset required to be a championship qb in the nfl.

tony does not nor ever will have it.

You want Tony Romo to be like Ryan and Flacco?

Get him a coach and offensive coordinator who will protect him with the proper game plan.

For all that we love about Tony Romo and his moxie, I believe he was unleashed too soon.

And it doesn't look like we have the coach or offensive coordinator to rein him in now. :(

I'd agree more with the "Replace Romo" crowd if he hadn't spent the last season and half before this one hitting those passes far more often then he missed them.

Three things about Romo-

1 - I definitely think the back and pinkie are affecting his accuracy. He simply did not miss this many receivers this often and by that much before the injuries.

2 - I think the TO thing and WRs whining has gotten to him. He's trying to push balls into places he has no business trying to. His aforementioned accuracy issues are making it much worse. I also think some of the whining however was warranted, as he was obviously looking to much at Witten AND TO. Tony has always been at his best when he is paying attention to his 3rd and 4th reads.

3 - Tony needs a Parcells, not a Wade. As we get further and further from the Parcells era, he has gotten more and more careless with the ball. I think Romo needs someone to be riding him constantly, consistently every down, every series about taking care of the ball the way Bill did. Not the Aw shucks we'll get 'em next time from Wade.

We should definitely draft a QB this year. We should have last year, there should always be someone in development behind the starter and that fact that we don't have that right now is downright stupid considering where we got our current starter from.

But I also think we'll see a much better Romo when he is healthy and we get more disciplined oriented coaches in place.

Romo has been the main reason for the offensive team performance this year. He has not been the same since he hurt his finger earlier this year. He never gets rattled at a press conference, but on the field he has played like crap for some time now. Unfortunately for the Cowboys they have no real backup at all, so he had to play no matter how banged up or injured.

The offensive line is not performing -- we need to get younger and much better. Draft O lineman...and a backup QB...all other positions on offense okay.

The defense has been better but still lacks true leadership. Thank Ware for a most of the improvement -- coaches finally letting him attack from multiple positions. Get rid of older players, stay young and aggressive.

funny you say that because i believe it was Tony who kept us in the game with two TD's. when the guy is playing good football everyone rides his jock strp but when he takes L's to the NFL 2 best defenses he sucks. I'm so tired of idiots coming on here and blaming T.O. or Romo like they are the only two players on a 53 man roster. 1 person can't lose a game a team can lose a game and the sooner you understand that the sooner we dont have to read your ignorant comments

I'm glad you named defensive players.....let's not forget the Ravens put up 34 points on us.....25 in the second half.....I like where you're going with this

Romo made a couple of bad decisions and the Ravens got 3 points off those turnovers. He missed a couple of throws and had one where he threw it perfectly, but the receiver lost it in the lights.

He also had guys running right at him free a lot of the night.

He also had the defense calling out our plays before we ran them.

He also brought us back twice and gave us a chance to win which the defense choked away both times.

Well, I'm not calling for the two to be shipped out, but the problem is that he did exactly what you said above....except over the past few games. Romo seems like he can be counted on for 2 to 4 turnovers a game. Last night the throws were underthrown...( one backfoot throw and the other was just errant altogether). Pittsburgh got 10 points from him via turnovers. He needs to shape up his decision making ALOT. Blaming WRs for screwing up routes may work when you have rooks at the position or even journeymen, but when you try to force throws, it doesn't come back to the WR or TE. The problem here is nobody can objectively assign blame. Coaches PREPARE teams. Players are the only ones that actually PLAY. We fell short on both ends, but players have to carry out plays and the offense couldn't do ANYTHING last night. There are only so many ways to run or pass. Past that it's up to the player to EXECUTE!

I was screaming all game to spread the Ravens out and get out of max protect. Romo and the offense had plenty of big mistakes last night, but in this game, the interceptions were relatively minor plays. Both were long balls on later-downs or that ended up as essentially punt returns.

The inability to connect with open receivers on log passes killed us last night. That, and the two long runs the D gave up, obviously.
