His updated passer rating is 97.0 after 15 games, so he has wrapped up his 4th consecutive season of 90+
2006 95.1
2007 97.4
2008 91.4
2009 97.0 (so far)

Until now, no one had ever started their career with 4 consecutive 90+ seasons.

True that.

Where are the haters? I am looking at you TwoDeep3, you DIAF, you Mcsomething or another Cowboy.

I'm just curious how they know for sure.

What if he threw 15 passes all for INTs?

He is definitely taking care of the ball better and is still moving the ball down the field quite well.

I just wish we were scoring more points. We have been bad at converting yards to points.

It doesn't help when one of your starting WRs leads the league in drops.

juckie or juck .. something like that. He hasn't said much lately. It's hard to talk when you've got a dirty sock in your mouth. LOL

If he were to get a 0 in the last game he would have a 90.94 passer rating for the year.

Yeah, but I thought the QB rating was calculated by adding all the stats up for the season and then plugging them in, not averaging the QB ratings for each game this season.

I could be wrong, but that seems like a strange way to do it if I am.

You're not wrong. You can make up different numbers for the last game, then plug them in to get a rating for the season.

If he goes 10 of 30 for 70 yards and 0 TD 5 INT (a 2.8 rating), he's still safe.

IOW, he did it.

Okay, cool. I guess we just have to hope he doesn't have one of those vaunted 15 INT games. ;)

Before the usual suspects come in here and start talking about how passer ratings are inflated these days and it's easy to get a 90 rating now, I'll post the entire list of quarterbacks who have had a rating of at least 90 in each of the past four seasons:

Tony Romo
Peyton Manning
