For years I have argued Kobe's shoot first mentality was negative for his teammates psyche. Whenever they win, it's all Kobe but when they lose it's his help. The debates have become so fierce I swear Kobe fans are happy when he score 40+ and the lakers lose to say "I told you so"! What they fail to see is Kobe refuses to use his help. Ps when's the last time Kobe made a meaningful shot in the playoffs?!

I'm starting to see this Kobe got his mentality with romo supporters. Since when has 500 yards plus 5 TDs and a crucial INT for a L been better than a 24 point win with him throwing 240+ yards and 3 TDs?! I don't get this train of thought. At some point it can't always be the help! I'm so confused at what the objective has become for THIS TEAM. To prove romo can put up great numbers and occasionally win or to just win.

To some a game like this is more proof for more passes just as a Kobe 50 point losing effort would justify more shooting by his supporters. When SKILLED PROFESSIONALS are used properly, the star player's load can be lessened.

We are wasting our (highly) skilled professionals to somehow prove romo (Kobe) is our best way to win.

Agreed. You sound really, really, really confused. For starters quarterbacks in football aren't quite equivalent to shooting guards in basketball.

Try sleeping it off. Perhaps some combination of consciousness, sobriety and good sense will come through for you in the end.

Kobe has how many championships? Sorry being a huge lakers fan and growing up in LA I can not agree. There are so many arguments against this but I'm just gonna disagree here. This is a Cowboys forum not a trash Kobe or Lakers forum. Kobe is arguably the greatest Laker of all time and his a god in these parts and the measuring stick for heart and will.

Let me add that he challenges every teammate to be great and that is something Howard could not deal with. Kobe is what you want when you talk about heart leadership and will the guy has ice in his veins. Watching Kobe play is such a pleasure and I appreciate the opportunity to watch greatness.

Exactly, besides not making much sense, how can comparing a pro athlete to Kobe be a bad thing?

As a Laker fan, bad comparison. Kobe has 5 rings. Romo has 1 playoff win. At least pick an NBA player who hasn't gotten past the 1st round of the playoffs, and has big time regular season stats (as Romo).

His whole point is the running game and this record that Murray when he gets the ball 18 plus times Dallas is undefeated. So really he thinks that if Murray would've rushed for a 100 yards and Romo only threw for 240 they would've won the game. When in reality it wouldn't have happened. They attacked the weakness of that defense. The last few runs were pathetic 1-2 yard. Really he is missing who this team just played against and he fails to mention that they didn't punt 1 time all game and if on offense you out up 48 points you win 99 out of 100 times. If they beat the Commanders and run well he will run right back here with an I told you post. That's his MO he wants to look like he should be running this team and he is right and the rest of the NFL is wrong. He hated that game plan and he hated the fact that they came within 1 mistake of winning it. He also can't admit that Romo didn't step into his throw on that last play. He's response would be there were over 2 mins left we should run the ball. But it was 2 and 14 and they had a huge play just called back. A series of unfortunate events. But now you get some background on fity-cent. Run Run Run he doesn't believe this is a passing league and he will point to this game to say he's right when in reality this game is an anomaly and that 9 times out of 10 you when with a QB who throws for 500 yards completes 77% of his passes 5 TD's and an INT with an average of 14 yards per pass. He fails to see the other team they played against.

Perhaps the worst thread in CZone history. I feel tainted to have been here.

Kobe is a four letter word in my vocabulary. I'm so not interested in how many titles Stern and his league engineered for the rapist. And just so you know I was a lifetime Laker fan until around 2002.

Romo is class. Kobe is trash. I'm talking human quality here. Mods...what will it take to do a mercy killing on this thread?

Your sound logic doesn't belong here and won't be appreciated. Save it for a better cause. I've set 50 pennies to IGNORE. Shouldn't we all?

it's not what he is insinuating...he's comparing Romo fans to Kobetards as in not enough people here are blaming Romo for lost and saying it's everybody else but Kobe or in this case Romo. it's completely stupid considering Kobe plays a two-way sport and Romo only plays offense and i'm pretty sure he did his job by putting up 48.

I take offense to "Kobetard" just because you don't like him and others do doesn't mean we are "********" come on show some class here. His point is about the running game. Go threw his post history you will see. He made this thread so he can make his silly point about Murray and the 18 wins when he carries the ball 18 times. That's the whole point of this thread when he is referring to supporting cast he means we should run the ball and not worry about Romo stats. You know because I'm sure that's what the coaches were worried about. SMH

there is a difference between Kobe fans and Kobetards his post was talking about the latter...the Kobe fans that comprise of the group Al-Quobe and hate any criticism whatsoever of Kobe and any Laker loss is never his fault. Just go to Lakersground for a little and you will see what i am talking about...they will ban you so fast if criticize Kobe...I remember after Lakers lost this past season James Worthy all-time Laker great was really tired of the defensive effort the Lakers were putting out on the court night after night (they would surrender like 110 a game). He criticized Kobe's effort on the defensive saying he's the leader and he should be setting the example and working hard on the defense not taking play offs to conserve energy for the offense. In Lakersground they responded by just calling him and idiot and other stuff that can't be said on this site but the one that stuck was a guy saying what does he know he has never won a title...that's a Kobetard and tbh i don't see Romotards on this site.

It's a stupid premise to begin with, but Kobe is a champion and one of the greatest NBA players of all time.

It'd be more like Carmelo Anthony. Gets a lot of hype, scores a lot but also shoots a ton and plays no defense. Makes a ton of money and has little playoff success. BUT anyone trying to blame Romo for this loss is being ridiculous. This is clearly on the defense.

What was the huge play called back on the last drive? Don't remember that

Was the huge play on the Kickoff maybe? I remember I think he got to the 35 but had a holding call? hey look this game is a game of inches if the center wasnt beat and if Romo had more room to throw I beleive we move the ball and get into field goal range and win it. But, that didnt happen. If if's and but's were candies and nuts we would all have a marry Xmas and if my grandma had nuts she would be my grand pa and if a frog had wings he wouldnt bump his Azz evertime he jumped. Stay consistent with this offense approach we will win most games. If we struggle to move the ball next week then I will be more pissed!
