romo was on pace for probably more touchdowns than his 2007 year.

I don't think it is too fair to put so much emphasis on TD% when evaluating Romo because Garrett doesn't give him much chance to throw it inside the 10. Some offenses like the WCO really collect alot of short TD throws compared to the Cowboys who are built around a power running game and a vertical passing attack.

A better statistic to judge a QB's ability to move the ball down the field is ypa (yards per attempted throw). Anything above is considered great and Romo has been over 8 three of his four years in the league (the other year he had 7.7).

i agree ypa means a lot. he has been top 5 in 3 out of 4 years.

well, eli is just a slightly above average qb. eli also has the same amount of td's with 60 less pass attempts. i would say that is pretty huge as well. wouldn't you?

True, but I think he is the current record holder - something like 4250 or so yards. That record likely will fall as I think Romo is around 3900 right now.

After the Minnesota game and Farve's 1 int, it looks like Romo has taken over the lowest Int%. Of all the stats, who would have thought he might lead in this one. He has also cut his fumbles from last yr (13 vs 6 so far) but he has lost them at a little higher rate.

Use your legs to run for yardage like last week when necessary and continue taking the sack over throwing prayers. Keep up the good work Tony.

Actually Aaron Rodgers is 1st with 1.42% INT%, Romo is 2nd at 1.46%.

Romo has cut down on both fumbles and INTs. That is critical. So what if he is down on TD's? Its much more important that he has cut way down on his turnovers. These threads crack me up. So he sucked the last two years cause he turned it over too much. People would be ok with less TD passes as long as he didn't throw as many INTs that hurt the team.

Now he's thrown a TON LESS INTs and people are pissed cause he doesn't have 30+ TDS right now to go with 15 or 16 INTs?

You people must have hated Troy Aikman when he played. Since he, you know, hardly ever even threw for 20+ TDs and never had a season with 30+.
