Ever look at Aikman's TD / passing yards stats? They weren't that impressive. Until you look at Superbowl wins.

Stat padding doesn't win games. Protecting the ball does.

Exactly. Having less TD pass is far more important than having 10 more so you can say he's go 30 plus but also has 15-18 INTs as well.

2007 was nice with those 36 TD passes but lets not forget he also threw 18 or 19 picks. That's way too much just to have 30+ TD passes.

I'll take 23-28 TD passes with 7-10 INTs every single year.

romo's playing great but actually aaron rodgers numbers are better

28 tds/7 ints

His numbers should be better after playing in these 8 games...

Lions twice
Bears twice
Niners
Rams
Browns
Bucs

Talk about some "padding your stats" games and yet these cheeseheads are still behind us in...

Total yards - Packers 6th....Cowboys 3rd
Passing yards - Packers 8th...Cowboys 7th
Rushing yards - Packers 15th...Cowboys 7th
First Downs - Packers 291...Cowboys 292
Yards per pass - Packers 8.0...Cowboys 8.1
Yard per rush - Packers 4.4...Cowboys 4.9
Average per play - Packers 5.8...Cowboys 6.3

I hope we get them at our house in January for some payback!

OK then. Well Tom Brady has 12 more pass attempts then Romo with 23 TDs and 11 INTs. Just like Eli.

Look we both know stats are for losers are rarely if ever tells the entire story. I'm sure we could both find numbers to support our positions.

The only thing that matters is wins and losses. Romo has played more than good enough to be 3-0 in December.

tom brady is playing like **** this year. everybody knows this.

Ignored.

The space on my screen is more valuable than your narrow minded bias.

I find it highly comical that people now are lambasting Romo for not throwing 40TDs, after they whined about turnovers, sporting signature pics that said "Turnover Tony" among other things.

It's not just ridiculous, it's ridonkulous.

All week across all the media its who is the MVP, Peyton, Brees, Rivers, Favre etc...

You look at the entirety of the numbers with no name or team attached and Tony is in the discussion.

He and the team perfroms weel in the last 2 games and into the playoffs and he HAS to enter the debate.

After all, he would have elevated his game and franchise to do something they could never do right? RIGHT?!

I think it is amazing how agenda driven some are. Romo has not had less than 20 TD in any season his QB rating has never been below 91. You are not going to find many QB's who have put up his numbers, not even Drew Brees can claim that. Tony critic hollered that is was TO who made him Tony has shown that is a bunch of non sense. Tony Romo is one of the better QB in the NFL if you can't see that then you have got to be blind
