Well..

while our hero heals from his latest injury..

Awards continue to roll in for him.

This evening I'm watching NFL highlights and the 10 Worst Plays in NFL history.

I patiently wait and hear about the Leon Lett gaffes in the SB where he drops the ball before crossing the goal line and the one against Miiami in the snow for a game winning FG on Thanksgiving Day where he can't pick up a blocked kick..

Those ranked 9th and 8th on the list.

And at #6 was Tony Romo in the Seattle playoff in 2006 where he fumbled the snap and botched a game winning FG.

I turned it off and watched a Trump Rally.

Tony Tony Tony..

Get well fella.

Hope we don't need ya.

It was a dumb freak mistake. What gets me is people talking about his mistakes in game where he was coming from behind and had to force things with the horrible defenses he's had.

If true, seems like massive hyperbole. A 9-7 team that was fading down the stretch goes out a round earlier than they could have. I fail to see why it would even be in the top 100. I guess it's good he no longer holds for kicks?

Overstatements and bravado.

What I really dislike about Romo is coming back late in the game to win..

is that it is normally because Romo will start a game starting out slow and often creating plays like rubles and interception to put us behind from the outset.

It does occur to you DAK is driving the ball leading the NFL in longest drives for scores.

And this is often occurring in the beginning of games like Cincy.

So DAK doesn't need to take risks and builds leads to protect instead of Romo who does little of that.

So you tell me..

Which way would you want to go..?

There was enough time left in that game for Seattle to win it even if the field goal went through.

Lol. You really want to stir it up.

For me the Seattle game I always thought was over reaction.

But I do think he has well more than his share of football follies with bobled snaps and awkward plays when he's under pressure.

It's actually kind of crazy how he has so many pull a rabbit out of your hat plays and so many fumbling stumbling goat plays.

You could do a highlight reel of each and wonder if it was the same guy

That is part of his tragedy.

You can't just say he was some good QB. He has had a lot of drama in his career.

We never had Horrible Defenses with Demarcus Ware and Jay Ratliff on the field. Our defenses actually had quite a few 1st and 2nd rd picks.

I keep reading this here, do any of you have ANYTHING to back this up? Here, let's do some research. Since, most of you here seem incapable of doing and it's getting quite tiresome. Me and a few others shouldn't have to be picking up the slack of a forum of this size. Inexcusable.

http://www.pro-football-reference.com/play-index/comeback.cgi?player=RomoTo00

Now, let's compare him to some of the other known clutch QBs

Tom Brady - http://www.pro-football-reference.com/play-index/comeback.cgi?player=BradTo00

Looking at Brady's list, Brady has played WORSE in his comebacks than Romo

Peyton Manning http://www.pro-football-reference.com/play-index/comeback.cgi?player=MannPe00

He seems to top Brady and Romo, but not by much

Aaron Rodgers http://www.pro-football-reference.com/play-index/comeback.cgi?player=RodgAa00

Now let's look at if Romo has a "slow start"

Here are Romo's situational stats

http://www.nfl.com/player/tonyromo/2505354/situationalstats?season=2014

His worst years in the first half was 2008 and 2012, outside of that, Romo has been consistent in both the first and second half of games. Actually, in a few seasons (2009 and 2011) Romo was better in the first half than he was in the second half.

So, there goes another "Womo suks!" myth out the window.

Drama is a good description. I won't take anything away from his passing skills but drama follows him all the time. He can't escape it. And that drives me nuts. At this point I just have to move on and hope the cowboys do as well
