Romo named the starter?

I don't see how it could be a knee jerk reaction if he got added reps in practice and all of the players were aware that it might happen and Romo was being told before the game to be ready to go.. If anything, it was pre-meditated.

keep in mind about 120 of that was in the 4th quarter down by 21 points.

These next few games are going to be ugly. The romo fantatics have killed our season.
Yes, it couldn't possibly be the case that Parcells thinks that Romo gives us a better chance to win. I guess I forgot to participate in the poll Parcells had about which QB to start.

i think at this point we should stick with romo. we have to know if he is the qb of the future or if we need to draft a qb.
i don't think palmer would be the one telling drew, i think bill would. i have read that bill was looking for him after the game and he had left the stadium. but i think bill repsects drew enough to tell him himself.
i was not for pulling drew at half time but it's done now and i don't see any benefit to going back.you've lost drew now we cn't afford to loose romo too. stick romo in there, move drew to backup and see what happens.drew will stick it out till season ends

I am here in Charlotte, and believe you me the Panthers have their problems as well. They can't run the ball. They have a patchwork o-line. Their left tackle is a castoff from the freakin Cardinals this year, and we know how bad that line is. D Ware should have another big day against them. One corner, Ken Lucas has a hurt hip, I think. Gamble is really struggling this year, and Mike Minter is an older version of Roy Williams. If we can somehow put some pressure on Jake he will chuck it up for grabs. I thought we just missed on about 5 sacks last night as Eli did a nice job in the pocket. Jake can't move in the pocket so LETS GET AFTER HIM! We can win this game!!

I heard that Drew Henson was named the starter. Wait a minute, he's not on the team. :bang2: :lmao2:

We all know how BP listens to the media and the fans and makes changes to make them happy. He has made a career out of not making his own descisions but instead bending everytime a reporter makes a suggestion.

Bledsoe killed our season.

If he even played as well as he did the first half of last season we are probably 5-1 or at least 4-2. We certainly wouldn't be marching a de facto rookie QB out there the rest of the year.

There is only one place to point the finger here.

Amen man he has nothing to complain about he blew it plain and simple.

It all really comes down to this. A play was called near the goal line to go to either T.O. or Whitten. Bledsoeimprovisedand threw a ball to a DB that was makingthe break on the ball before Bledsoe even let it go. Bledsoe played outside the scheme ofthe play and cost us (yet again) a scoring opportunity in the red zone. A killer mistake oustide the scheme of the play and Parcells had seen enough. He's seen this before with Bledsoe and he was sick of looking at it week after week. He pulled the plug realizing nothing would change. Kudos.

I can think of at least five:

LT LG C RG RT

This is the best thing that could happen for us at this point. Either Romo becomes the guy we all hope he will be and performs that way and we get to the playoffs, or at least proves he CAN be the guy. Or he stinks it up and we know what we need to do in the draft.

Either way, right now we are beating the bad teams and losing to the good teams which means we are not either. We are mediocre. And that is not what we want to be.

Exactly!

It looks exactly like a knee jerk reaction. A QB change at half time when your within 1 TD of the lead is a knee jerk reaction, unless the QB is injured.
This was not a knee jerk reaction. Bledsoe knew he needed to produce points not turnovers especially in the red zone. He should have been yanked in the Philly game.
