Romo or Brady? Which is more capable of using their BIG PLAY WR effectively?

I have to say Romo. Romo showed last year that it doesn't take much to get down field that's why he went to the pro bowl with just a lil bit of games under his belt.

Romo has a talent that can't be overlooked. Prime example, Jason Witten catch from Tony Romo against Giants. T.O. against the Arizona Cardinals and Patrick Crayton against Arizona.

I believe Romo has big play ability.

I can't believe that a 10 start QB is being compared to a 3 time Super Bowl winner. Brady has the experience, the been there and done it,,, Romo hasn't yet proven to be a consistant QB yet... Let's wait until he proves something here before we start comparing him to multiple championship QBs.

I think that I would have to say that Roger Staubach was the best I ever saw, at it. After that, it would probably be John Elway for me.
I'll say Aikman, was good at it also when he wasn't pressured Romo, is alright at QB, but no one should compare him to Brady, at this point this early in his career.

Case closed......even with the no-name WR's he had last year they still went 12-4, other than Peyton Manning you can't compare another QB with Tom Brady.

I know Romo is early in his development... but he showed flashes of really getting the ball to his WR's at the right times and often.

Which QB uses their weapon best and most effectively and why?

Not just looking for a Brady or Romo answer? I would like to know based on their tendencies and talent how can they accel with these diva WR's

LOVE your sig image.

And I know you are looking for more in depth analysis and you already put in parameters about Romo being early in his development.

But honestly even with those preconditions to the argument at this time I still have to go with Brady for now.

You honestly just can not ignore his performances in the playoffs and superbowls thus far even if you want to rule those out for a debate.

Romo has one playoff game and loss to his name so far.

Down the road...who knows maybe Romo does better than brady...for now it is brady without a doubt.

I believe its a great question.

Its pretty simple.

High profile QB's throws ball.
High profile WR's catch the ball.

Which duo will post the best results? for the team?

I don't even think you can give Romo the nod on quality of hot girl friend. Gisele Bundchen is smoking hot.

Brady has SuperBowl rings! Romo has Carrie(under Romo)Wood...

That's as far as it goes! I like Romo, but...come on here!

Brady dates and impregnates some pretty hot chicks himself.

You can look it up. Google "Bundchen in the oven"

While I can't believe many of you said Romo I have to be the thorn in this
and say you are all MAD, Romo while he has shown flashes doesn't stand up
near the talent of Tom Brady or Peyton Manning. this early in his career but
not with standing that point

Romo has excellent potential to be something the likes of which has never
been seen before or since..but let's wait to see how he handles the first
full year under center, before breaking out any anointing oil for him and
placing him ahead of a 3 time super bowl winner

the way I look at it is, Brady is much better than Romo but T.O. is much better than Moss....but the big play has to start with the QB and Brady is in a different league to Romo IMO. Tom Brady does more with crap recievers than most guys can do with superstar recievers, this season he has his own superstar reciever and I think you will see what he is fully capable of this year.

Brady with absolutely no doubt.

It seems kind of wierd to me we are comparing a one year starter with the winner of three super bowls and countless other huge wins. Brady up to this point has never really had a great/good wide reciever, with only Deon Branch even coming close.(but in that offense it is really hard to get to 1,000 yards the way they spread it around.)

If brady had Terry Glenn on that team.... heck maybe patrick crayton, the chargers game would have not been nearly so close.... and the colts game I don't know about. Point is Brady is the man until Romo can get to him.

Brady is the best qb in this league bar-none. Even better than Peyton Manning, because Manning totally freaks out when he gets any pressure up the middle or he gets hit and hurried alot ala when we played the colts. Brady doesn't tend to do that.

^I agree completely about Brady being the best QB in the league...with no good recievers to this point I might add.

people are actually comparing Tony Romo to Tom Brady though? seriously?....come on.

I can't believe this is even a thread...
I almost can't either, but if you look a little deeper, this isn't really a QB thread... It's another "Pump Up T.O." thread. ;)

well there is no denying T.O. is the man, but when you have Brady at QB you have a better chance to shine.

Amen Brother.

How is this thread even 3 pages, wow. Romo or Brady, huh? Gee, let me think about that one.

until they actually play against eachother i dont think anybody can say either or.

before last yr anybody in their right mind would say peyton by far over romo. but when they played, romo outplayed peyton to the point that u forgot peyton was even playing. romo outclassed him in every aspect of the game.
