I completely agree with you. Fan reaction is just the nature of the game. If it's a win, any problems we had are glossed over. If it's a loss, any good things that happened are forgotten. I guarantee that if Johnson had come back and tied the game or won last night, people would be talking about how good we looked. That final score biases opinion entirely too much.

Romo looked sharp and made some nice moves in the pocket. He was aware of what was happening downfield and found an open man more often than not.

Either way-I really admire the way Cowboys fans raise the bar to High Excellence on their players, especially their QBs.

Danny White takes us to 3 NFC Title games, but he's nonetheless a noble failure. DMac does the same with the Eagles, and he's an HOFer. Pt being that if DMac was wearing the Star, you probably would see many, many threads on this board of how he's an "underperformer".

Like I said, gotta love us Cowboys fans!:)

Romo played well enough for us to win. I don't think he played bad at all. Yes, he missed somethings but that's gonna happen sometimes. It wasn't his best but I damn sure wouldn't say he played bad..

I am not saying this was his best game, because he did miss some throws and he wasnt as sharp as ive seen him, but he was not bad. Some people are making it out to sound like he was horrible. I agree with Wade, he was not as sharp as ever, but he didnt do bad. That throw to Hurd was a good one, he had to put it high and out of reach to the defender. Wittens TD was a good one, he had to loft it. TOs TD was a good one off his back foot because of pressure. There was a ton of good throws and a handful of lazy lousy ones, he will get it under control, he was not bad at all. The thing that gets me is that tonights game for some posters, will overshadow the effeciency and great play we saw in the first two games.
