All he needs is for the O-line to consistently give him time. If we rebuild it this next off season......look out.

Wow! A QB that can step up in the pocket and has pocket presence and composure! Amazing! Where's that tool that thought Bledsoe should still be starting..

you sure as hell could not tell this was his first start in the nfl..

he impressed me in several ways...........especially his awareness and leadership..

i think we may have our next franchise qb.

THis kind of reminds me of Julius Jones against Chicago. You felt like you finally had that guy you had been looking for.

Like I said earlier in the week...I thought he was more ready than most people knew. You don't sit there for 4 years without learning SOMETHING.

Romo is very impressive in how he moves, makes decisions, and gets the ball out. He seems to be pretty accurate too which is nice. :starspin

Romo will make or break the cowboys chances to be a SB contender this year and for years to come. if tonight was any indication, we are in for a huge treat

I agree. He does things you cant teach, the way he feels the pocket, the way he finds the open man, you would think he has been starting for years.

Very, very impressed. He kept his cool extremely well. Early on he looked like he might be jumpy back there and trying too hard. I think he calmed down after the first quarter. Once he did, he really began to make excellent reads and his throws were pretty much on the money all night after that.

We played a hell of a good team tonight, and we played very, very well. I can totally see Romo back there for a good few years. What's more - the team seems to really respond to him. I haven't seen Columbo and Rivera play that well all year. I expected Romo to play pretty well but I figured it'd be a jailbreak back there. The o-line played very well.

Nice to see Witten get more involved. MB3 really has his head on a swivel out there - he moves around well, sees holes well. JJ had a nice burst tonight also.

we forgot what it was like to have a SMART QB who can spread the ball around with accurate throws. his pre-snap presence alone is very impressive :)

An O-Line appreciates it when they only have to hold a pass block for 3 seconds and the ball is gone or the QB is out of the pocket.

He's a prime example of what sitting on the sidelines and taking lots of reps in practice will do for you. (i.e. Carson Palmer, Romo, Rivers, etc.) As opposed to throwing them to the wolves like most coaches often do.

Well, that depends. You can lead a horse to water, but you can't make him drink.

And to think ro mofu--ker sat through

1. QCar's season 2003. OK let's give it up to QCar. OK let's not ...

2. Miserable Chad Hutchison/Vinny/Hensen year. 2004

3. Drew did OK, but .... 2005

He's a Ro - Mo - f--cker, boy!

It was Parcell's, and our, loss ...
What the hell does that mean?

translation:
And to think, romo sat on the bench and watched Quincy Carter's 2003 season. Great job QC, just kidding.
He was again forced to sit through the miserable seasons of Chad Hutchison, Vinny, and Hensen. The year was 2004.
Drew Hensen was fine, but then 2005.
He's a romo fantastic boy
It was Parcell's loss not to play Romo, and in retrospect, perhaps the entire fanbase suffered from this decision

Wait, I thought it was common knowledge that a quarterback can't learn anything on the sideline?

Hey, it's easy to see why so many people think highly of Romo. He's got that "it" factor. I like to call it "moxie"... ;)
