not to mention his quick release, and his accuracy.

Thats a deadly combination folks

yea he was outstanding

the one that really sticks out for me was when he dumped it off to barber and he got a 1st down in the 4th quarter. He quickly recognized the coverage and that nobody was open and dumped it off.

Thats not all he needs from O-line. They need to stop killing drives with penalties. I was going nuts.

An O-Line appreciates it when they only have to hold a pass block for 3 seconds and the ball is gone or the QB is out of the pocket.

You know, the O-line is getting a lot of negative attention, and in some cases, they deserve it. But having a statue in the pocket is not inspiring to an O-line, they have to work harder and harder as the game goes on.

The flip side of this is that defensive coordinators bring pressure more frequently with a statue in the pocket, because they know it will be effective.

When you put a mobile QB back there, you negate the extra pressure on the O-line twice over. Romo really fits that bill.

The fact that he sat through all that is the reason he is diong so well right now. He had the chance to learn and progress without having to deal with being unprepared. The fact that he had 4 years to sit and learn is no coincidence with his good play. Parcells said he didn't want to break the players confidence when referring to Romo and Henson.

Like I said earlier in the week...I thought he was more ready than most people knew. You don't sit there for 4 years without learning SOMETHING.

You are right, you learn something after 4 years on the sidelines. But what you don't learn is how to effectively perform under duress in real game time conditions. This guy doesn't rattle much and when he does he shrugs it off on the next play. Romo is smart, quick and highly competitive.

It may not need as much rebuilding as some think....Romo's speed of delivery is already giving us a better read on how 'bad' the line is.

And it's nowhere nearly as bad as it had 'looked'.

I was telling my dad during the game that "I don't care if that guy throws 5 INTs the rest of the game, I love watching some Romo!"

He makes our offense so much more dynamic and less predictable....our OL looks better...our defense looks better because its not on the field as much.

Romo took us down the field all the time. If we wouldn't have had so many penalities, I think we would've had over 40.
I love how Romo hit 6 different recievers.
I love how Romo hit TO all day.
The INT was a dumb throw and arguable catch, but I'll take it if I get the rest of the game he played.
Looked great when we could mix in some running plays and he has a week to practice with the starters.
Even if we didn't win another game all season, I'm glad Romo is starting. He makes the Cowboys worth watching.

Who knew you could adjust the snap count and keep the Dline off balance.

Romo played a masterful game. It was one of the few times you see a stat line and think the player played better than that. I was down on him last week, deservedly so, and early in this game, because that INT throw was the same old, same old....but he came up huge.

What impressed me most about Romo was some of the passes that went incomplete. Romo did a very good job for the most part of not forcing the ball. Many times placing the ball were either his man makes the play on the ball or no one gets it. In the end Romo looked like he did in the pre-season which many times inexperienced QB will look great during that time and struggle when the bullets are flying for real well Romo stepped up and showed he can do the job when it is for real and handled himself like a vet.

And to think, romo sat on the bench and watched Quincy Carter's 2003 season. Great job QC, just kidding.
He was again forced to sit through the miserable seasons of Chad Hutchison, Vinny, and Hensen. The year was 2004.
Drew Hensen was fine, but then 2005.
He's a romo fantastic boy
It was Parcell's loss not to play Romo, and in retrospect, perhaps the entire fanbase suffered from this decision

Wow. You speak drunk. That takes a lot of practice.

There was a play in the second half when a CB jumped the route and I thought he got the interception and chould have taken all the way. Romo quickly recognised it and with out changing his motion, threw it high and out of bounds. Very impressive...

I dont know about the Giants game, but certainly the Eagles game. I think Romo and his sidekicks Owens and Witten destroy the Philly Blitzing Scheme, if we had a "do-over".

I think Witten plays a bigger role in that game, if we could repeat that game over.

Isn't that the truth?

Romo should have started from the beginning of the season.
