Ya think! Great investigative work Gene Jock-Tailor.

I think the point is that Romo said it vs the general population saying it.
Goes against their whole "we can simply flip a switch" approach, but ok. Not that we ever bought that.
I liked when Garrett came out yesterday and denied that Romo was rusty...

Exactly - he's pretty coy about admitting stuff and get that but Im glad he came clean - Im not worried about him.
In Romo's defense on this topic, he's very clearly come out many times on the importance of preseason reps in getting players ready, in general, and himself in particular.
I love it when we paraphrase two very different conversations, from two different people answering two different questions, lop off the limbs and all the nuance of what was actually said, and then conclude that the two truncated stubs are somehow contradictory to each other.
What do you want to bet that if you listen to what both Garrett and Romo said together, there's really not any meaningful conflict in their takes?
I'm a Romo fan and even after the last game I support him but rust or no rust the picks were uncalled for and should never be forced no matter if we are talking vet QB or a rookie QB. I can get the fact he may have been so called Rusty but no excuse for the picks rust had nothing to do with it.
I can accept the rust (if he comes back down to earth Sunday). We know that Tony has been playing lights out the past couple years. Especially last year. He also had major back surgery. One thing I know for sure, Tony does NOT play like he did last Sunday on a normal basis. It's just not the case. It was an anomaly. (Unless he does it again this Sunday, then all bets are off
