Your respose seem sober. OK, go for it. But this time stick to the facks, Jack. Don't try no run-arounds. Don't come at me with your fancy words and délicieux bavardage déguiséense moquant des mots.
And above all, show that you means it and not just trying to stalk me and mock me.
I fervently look for your response, mon ami.

I am sticking to facts, Romo has lead this team from behind on many occations only to be let down by the defense and or special teams. Not sure if you watched NFL Network but they showed the Dallas/SF 81 NFC Championship game and while so many focused on blaming White but as the Cowboy players said it was not White he and the offense gave us the late lead the defense blew it and they knew that. Has Romo been at fault? sure he has, if you play the position it will happen when you are tryiing to pull a game out late because you are taking bigger risk and defense knows you have little choice but to take those risk and it happens to all, even guys like Roger and Montana. When a team has been down as long as the Cowboys been the focus just tends to be more so on the QB.

There I go again? Not saying Romo is Roger or Montana what I'm saying it happened to them as well. Is Romo better than they are? No never said he was

Some of you seem to think any comparison is as a whole when fact is the comparison if you want to call it that is these things have and do happen to the best so to think Romo should be somehow immune from these mistakes, he is not but he has done more to put this team in position to win and because at times they have come up short does not mean it is Romo failure there are many things that have also been outside his control

Never half a fan said so much in defense of Romo and expressed such love. too bad he is married. Yes, he put his team in a position to win before he thow into double or triple coverage. Yes, he put his team in a position to win before he does his fran tarkington before thowing a dinky, 5-yard pass to Witten or Beasley. Yes, he put his team in a position to win before he try to thread the needle and then we all go home for December and face yet another next season with expectations that Romo, finally, can pull it all together and actually LEAD this team to the playoffs. And maybe add one more playoff win to his resume that he don't need anyway because he half more money than Jane Fonda.
No, I would not call Romo a failure.
Will you call him a success story for the Cowboys? huh? Huh? I can't hear you!

Right now I would say the story is still taking place how it ends we will wait and see. Do I think he is a very good QB? You bet Do I think he can help this team win a championship? Yes. There have been a lot of very good QB's who have never got the ring, as for Romo we will see.

You think romo can help this team win a championship?
1. In what universe?
2. In what year?
Pls answer BOTH questions.

But thanks for not writing the name Marino or Archie manning in the same sentence that refers to Romo.

This universe and what year? I don't know since it takes a team to win a championship NO ONE QB has ever won it, you show me a SB team I will show you several players that helped make it happen. Roger has rings he also had other HOF player who where not just sitting around watching, they stepped up they made big plays. Troy has rings he also played with the all time NFL leading rusher who won MVP as well so again you want to know what year that depends on a lot of players and coaches stepping up and doing the job NOT ROMO alone it does not work that way

If the team is good enough, of course Romo can help it win a title.
That's a big IF and totally theoretical.

The question posed is flawed.

Of course it is. I felt Danny White was capable and even players on that team knew Danny was capable. Danny played great ball and put his team in a position to win, he caught hell for the 9ers game a game in which he gave the defense a lead and yet 9ers drive 90 plus yards and score with only 40 seconds remaining and now it is Danny fault? lol Dallas player knew better. Being capable, having the talent to help your team win a SB does not mean that player will since again it takes more than 1 man to win a SB

Yeah, I just watched that game again yesterday on the NFLNW.
Brutal. The 49ers ran all over that nickel defense on that last drive . Bill Walsh checkmated our man Landry...at least that time.

suffite to say that you Romo acolytes won't say "Romo is so good he will lead this team to the Super Bowl this season."
And, coupled with his last-minute meltdowns and blunders and now with a D that might be one of the worst in history, it does not seem reasonsable for you Romo lovers to say that.
Just keep in mind that it never ends well writing Romo's name in the same sentence or even paragraph with the true great QBs of the NFL. Those who half led their teams to Super Bowls or have won a Lombardini trophy.
Romo, as I half said many times, is a great QB when it comes to personal stats.
As someone who can take a team to the playoffs or will it to win, eh, not so much.

If you Romo lovers really feel this is the year for Romo to help win a Lombardini Trophy, please say so.
Otherwise you is just whistling past the paved yard. Or not into reality.
And I say this with all doo respect.
