Romo said this wasnt a big game, the governors cup and all. Romo stated something like its just another game. Well, the team played like that too. The team feeds off of the QB, since he is the leader.

Next, Romo said, he deserved to be paid more than Schaub for the Texans, did Romo out play Schaub, no way.

Romo fumbled 2 snaps on shotgun formation, one was real bad, is that the same thing like he wasnt concertrating like in the Seattle game. Remember now, I didnt say this but Parcells did. He said sometimes Romo mind is somewhere else for that spllit second.

So, does Romo deserve to be paid more than Schaub after what happened in Houston. No, I would point that out to him too. He needs to get that silly smirk off of his face, and be serious about football.

If I was the offensive coordinator and head coach, and Jerry Jones, I would point all of that out to him, and the interception he threw was well underthrown, he made the receivers wait on the ball too long on several occasions.

Then, he threw the ball to Witten on the touchdown pass, leading him into the defensive back for the big hit Witten received. Does, Romo deserve more money for that, NO!!!!!!!!!!!

He needs to be accoutable, and if he is suppose to be the leader of the team, he needs to act like it, and not just another game attitude.

Romo will be judged off his play in the REGULAR SEASON. If he earns another probowl trip, he will get his pot of gold.:)

hahaha Romo did not play bad at all. He had one badly underthrown pass and one fumble. Other than that his throws were money. If he wouldnt have lofted that ball towards the defender then it would have been tipped. You're the fan who thinks just because a ball is high/behind the reciever it was a bad pass. Sometimes you have to throw it to a spot, not to a man, to get the completion.

When I was a receiver, I told the QB to put it near me and I'll do the rest. Every pass isn't going to be perfect, sometimes the receiver actually has to work at catching it.

I dont want Romo to fall, I want Romo to be serious about football.

If you remember when they told Romo about the governors cup, etc, he said, its just another preseason game, no big deal.

Thats what I am saying, its his attitude.

If you were listening to guys like The Moose whom knows football more than we ever know or can comprehend, he said that Romo should have led Witten to the outside, not lead Witten inside to get the big hit, you can get a player killed like that. Next, Romo said why he fumbled snap was due to loud noise, again that is an excuse, not owning up to the fact, that he played like just a preseason game and didnt count. Which, when he acted like that, so did most of the team.

If you read some of craytons remarks, he said, he wants to play Houston again, he wants the commissioner to schedule the cowboys and texans every season during the season. Now, he is hungry, but like Fergueson said, they got hit in the mouth, and they werent ready.

The QB is suppose to be leader of the team, not just a game.

Several other passes Romo overlead the receivers, if you remember the pass to T O, he had to wait on the ball, even The Moose said so, so Romo was off last night, does he deserve more money for playing that way compared to Schaub, no way.

If he is to be the leader, which I want him to own up, take control of the team, and not let that split second happen like he did on the shotgun snap, to me, that looked just like the play in Seattle, he was thinking about something else for that split second, he even admitted he should have had it, thats what I am saying, I want him to grow up, and become the leader I think he can be. His ATTITUDE needs to change for us to be winners.

That is the attitude that probably 75% of players in the NFL would agree with. The game wasn't a big deal.

Count me in the middle group... Does he need to take it like he just fumbled the snap at Seattle all over again? Nah, no need to get upset about it or anything. But he also needs to not feel some sense of entitlement like it sounds like. He needs to come out and say, hey, we came out and took some things for granted and got outplayed. We are going to work hard to fix that and fix things so we're full-bore come NY. Not, oh, it's okay because it's only preseason and therefore meaningless.

Who gives a **** about the governor's cup??

ahhhh, it had been about 7 months since I remember seeing the Zone after a loss. Even after a preseason loss it's nigh unbearable.

exactly as you say it....

Players should take this game a little serious, but most don't, so to crucify anyone for a preseason game is crazy. Does not mean that players cannot learn from it though too.

it sounds to me like Romo has a little bit playful cockiness when it comes to playing QB (to me it is just having fun), and that a few here have problem with that. Almost as if they were throwing TO in the same boat.

No one on that team sounds like they work as hard as Romo does. He is allowed to enjoy it, so some need to get over it.

Like it or not. It wasnt a big game to win... not for the Cowboys. It was a game to work on things. That Romo to TO play that didnt work in this preseason game is money in the bank come the regular season.. when it matters.

Preseason. Again.

He needs to fix this. Agreed. The Seattle game?? Really?

You cannot compare the two. One is a starter already. The other is going to be a starter... and AGAIN preseason.

Yes it was.
All the receivers had to wait for the ball?? ALL??

The defender say the play developing and made his way to the ball. Good play on his part, better play on Romo/Wittens part. Its football. Sometimes you get hit in football.

He holds himself accountable.
He is the leader.

Again... it was just another PRESEASON GAME.

"We talkin' bout preseason?... preseason?... We talkin' bout preseason?... preseason?..."

Where are you getting all these quotes from "THE MOOSE"? I watched the game but I sure didn't see or hear "THE MOOSE" doing any commentary this week.

Where were you when Romo shined on the field? Schaub is no where near the QB Romo is.. ONE preseason game and people are ready to discount Romo as a QB. Of course he needs to work on some areas but what QB doesn't? I'll reserve judgement until after the season...
