The offensive line has nothing to work out, neither the backs. This has been said a million times. If you have 7 blocking, and they send 7 but 3 from one side, how do you block it? The answer is, you don't. You either shift the protection to the opposite side, hoping they don't switch sides, or you actually make the hot read, throw bubble screens, RB screens etc. There was nothing the offensive line could have done but block a person, and those person's were blocked.

I don't agree completely. A lot of the problems were the Commanders overloading the protection and Dallas not running plays that would have made them pay for it, but there were a few protection issues where if the back or tight end had picked up the free man, it would have made the difference.

The only line issue that I saw in pass protection was when Washington stunted and Martin didn't come off the double-team, so I do agree with you on that part. But there was a combination of problems that led to the protection issues, mainly with the play-calling.

If Tony can play, I'd let him play. But I'd have him on a short leash if he doesn't look right. Weeden should keep his arm warm. I have faith weeden could win dallas some games given the opportunity.

Let Romo rest if "his back is killing him" and let Weeden earn his keep!

It's his team. He plays if he wants to. He's earned that right as the leader and franchise QB.

Agree with you about a lot of things, don't agree on this one at all. Make the right decision for the team. Romo doesn't get to make the call.
