Last year was an odd year for high QB stats - I think that the Defenses will catch up a bit this year and that will come back to the normal range.

ThatsmyQB;1984939 said:Well, you also gotta remember those last 3 games were once he injured his THROWING THUMB where it affected his grip and accuracy bigtime, not to mention T.O. was injured also which affected the passign game the last 3 games on top of his thumb, I'm not worried at all!

38 TDs
15 Int
4,000 YDS
95.0 RAT
6 300 yard games (16 for career, Cowboy Record)
At least gonna be in the Superbowl
Career (Assuming he stays healthy and plays another 6 years)
220 TDs (Cowboy record)
120 Int
26,000 YDS (2nd behind Troy)
92.0 RAT (Cowboy record)
2 x Superbowl Champion
This entire thread is priceless, but this post in particular is the one I'm going to put in the vault.ThatsmyQB;1984918 said:About Romo's stats, I see them going THROUGH THE ROOF, and not being a homer either, going by LOGIC and COMMON SENSE!
. . .
So when you add in the FACTS that he'll have better receivers then he did last year, plus add in another year on the O-lien getting more continuity which should not be underestimated, and with another year in the same offensive system which means he'll be more comfortable, and add in the fact that he'll have the experience of his 1st full season as an NFL starter which will cut down on his mistakes and improve his decision making also after learning, and that he's only gonna be better with more experience, I think he has a shot at breaking even more records.
. . .
So in TOTAL!
4,500 yards passing
44 T.D.'s
14 INT's
68% completion %
Over 100 Q.B. rating
When you factor in all my factors above, this is TOTALLY REALISTIC numbers to expect from him next year, and not being a homer, just what the facts and common sense tells me he'll get!

ThatsmyQB;1985242 said:Just curious on why you think his numbers will decrese so much?
I mean, 10 less T.D. passes when he should have a better supporting cast at W.R. and in year 2 of the same offense and in his 2nd full season as a starting Q.B., just wondering why you think he'd regress so much??
I think we had a record breaking offense last year.
I don't think we'll have that every year.
I am not going to predict Cowboy records being broke every year. That's absurd.
Secondly, I think we'll run the ball in the red zone more next year.
