I questioned Romo living up to his contract after the last game, and I'm happy to say he was near perfect yesterday. That was the best game I've seen him play in a long time. Seemed like he made the best decision just about every play. What makes it even better is that my son and I were at the game. First game in ten years!!! So I feel we're some kinda good luck and should probably try to attend all games.
I've never been a Romo hater or a huge fan, more on the fence. I appreciate the person he is, his athletic ability, his quick release, his escapability, etc... As I've said before, I think Romo's ceiling is to become his childhood hero, Brett Favre. He is a lot like Favre in a lot of ways (good and bad).
I've just never been convinced that Romo has that special "it" that comes through in the clutch, that he's a gamer. I'm always hoping he takes it to the next level. More games like yesterday will certainly shut up many of the doubters like me, but the haters...
