Same.

No way in hell I take Ogletree over Crayton. I do however take Ogletree over Stanback, in a heartbeat.

I was and am still rooting for Stanback.. I like the guy, but... his time is running out and he's not done anything to prove he's worth another year of time. Ogletree may **seems very likely** have just pushed Stanback off the roster by the start of the season.

how can anyone complain about Patrick Crayton right now?

this team just played a great game against a strong favorite in the AFC, and people still gripe about nothing

yep...here it is:

Only a moron would be happy with a fair catch on EVERY punt. Nimrod.

You better get used to Crayton because he is not going anywhere.

My biggest gripe was about his punt non-returns. He'll make the team but he needs to NOT be the guy on the return team.

30-10 win, and this is worth complaining about?

maybe you preferred the excite of Pac Trash's 4.5 yds per punt return and runs backwards

Ogletree looked great.... But then again it was against second teamers. Crayton had a couple catches tonight. I agree though. Crayton is nothing special and seems like we could do much better with either hurd, miles, or ogletree. Crayton has NO upside AT ALL!!!

You Crayton haters are a bunch of whiners. Crayton is a key asset to this team. Olgetree should be a nice addition. He'll make the team. But hating on Crayton is lame when you should be hating on the stupid drive killing penalties like the one Colombo had on 4th and 1 leading to a Nick Folk shank.

What are you talking about. The one negative comment I had in a post full of praise (the OP) and that's all you focused on? Go to bed David.

Easy killer lol everyone has their opinions

Yep, and we are stating them vs. the moronic Crayton haters who are looking for doom and gloom during a 30-10 win at the new Cowboys Stadium against a very deep Tennessee Titan team.

Let's remember this about our lack of punt returns so far.

Game one we faced Shane Lechler....maybe the best punter in the NFL.

Game two we faced Craig Hentrich....also a very good punter.

There's a reason those guys are highly thought of.

3 catches for 30 yards is great? You're easily impressed.

You don't like that?

The starters played for a half. If he got 30 yards in one half, is it a stretch to give him 60 for a game? If Crayton averages 60 yards a game, we are sitting pretty. (Hint: 60 yrds a game looks pretty dang good after 16 in a season).

I thought Crayton was excellent, and I thought he got stiffed on two catches for first down because the refs gave him a bad spot. Crayton isn't going to wow you after the catch, but he will make the catch. He is also and excellent slot reciever

Considering Crayton played one half, 3 for 30 isn't too shabby. If he does that every half of every game it only means about 96 catches for 960 yds.

I'll go out on a limb and say that most, if not all, of our starters are going to make the team. How long were you and your wife at that bar tonight, THUMPER?

Crayton's never gonna be a game-breaker, but the fact is, he moves the chains.

I'd like to see Ogletree fielding punts in preseason.

Wasn't the point of this thread about how awesome Romo was last night?

I make a stupid remark about Crayton because I was disappointed in him not even attempting to return a punt all night and that's all everyone can talk about.

What are you a bunch of contract lawyers nitpicking every clause or a gaggle of old ladies with their baggie drawers in a bunch jumping on the latest little tidbit of gossip?

Sheesh! I'm sorry I even brought up Crayton's name. I had no idea he was such a sacred cow here.

So, wasn't Romo awesome last night!

Romo threw for 192 yards in the first half and the Titans ended up with a TOTAL of 191 yards on offense for the game!

13 penalties for 113 yards sucked but other than that I was very pleased with the game. Our defense played very well as did the offense.

Special teams were still not very special. Patrick "Fair Catch" Crayton should NOT be returning punts. Well, actually he isn't, he's just catching them I guess. :bang2: :bang2: :bang2:

Great return on the opening kickoff called back for a lame holding penalty.

At this point I would take Ogletree over Crayton, at least he looks like he wants to make the team. Crayton needs to play as if his roster spot were not assured.

BTW, my wife came to the bar with me to watch the game. Now that's pretty cool!
One observation I had was that we did not try and go deep. Mostly just perfect chain moving plays. I really liked the mix with the 1st team offense last night. Every guy got to move the chains it seemed.
