Tony Romo has made a decision regarding the future of his thrice-broken collarbone. But another decision still needs to be made.

Per a source with knowledge of the situation, Romo has decided to have surgery. It’s expected to happen within the next two weeks.

He has not yet decided on the type of surgery. The options are the Mumford procedure or the attachment of a plate to the bone. As explained by the Dallas Morning News, the Mumford procedure entails a shaving off or removal of a portion of the distal clavicle.

Either way, the goal is to help ensure that the bone won’t break a fourth time...
